Thanks for the infor. You hit it on the head - it helps to understand exactly what the terminology is - what refers to what. I really don't know why the people who write the docs at MS *ALWAYS* assume that people already know what the property names refer to. THey could have made it so much simpler by giving a simple drawing/picture. A picture is worth a million words.
Thank you so much, sir! You saved me. Just started an internship with no Windows forms experience. There are no other good videos available and the microsoft documentation can be really confusing.
I want to create a spreadsheet to track my medication usage. I want to gather real-time barometric pressure information with an Arduino and a BMP280 module. I want to insert the pressure data directly into the medication spreadsheet, in real-time, on a laptop. Then, I want to use that information to create charts and forms. I have to do this with freeware. I have the free edition of Visual Studio. Will it do these things, or do I have to buy upgraded functions? If VS is pay-to-play, do you know of any freeware that will do as I need? Thank you.
Many thanks for a very informative and helpful video.

Thanks for your excellent and clear explanation of the Chart object, better than Microsoft itself!!
I learnt so much watching all your videos by directly being able to apply it. thank you @EETechStuff
Thanks this was very helpful

fantastic thank you
this tutorial is really good
This really helped demystify Microsoft's very unintuitive chart design.

can you please give the example sln project?
Gosh, and I just programmed something like that (just much simpler) manually. 🤣I wish I had seen this earlier!
