It looks so easy and so hard at the same time😭😂 beautiful covers!
I agree😂
I have seen a good amount of bookbinding videos but I have to say, I love yours the most. So clean and simple. I am definitely going to be trying your techniques!! Thank you so much!
Thank you for making the off handed comment about if you don’t paint your fabric you need to seal it. I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t foil on my fabric then I painted it with mod podge and it works. It’s such a specific issue I couldn’t find any information on google about it. ❤
The clear coat was acrylic varnish (gloss I think), for anyone wondering.
Hi, amazing work, what kind of clear coat do you use?
This is incredible!!I'm definitely going to try this out!!
There’s something so calming about your videos so I’m on a binge ☺️
Also I just love how informative these videos are while also being so pleasing on the eye
I literally screamed "YES, I DO!" at the beginning 🙈 I'm super excited to try this with my books :D
Thank you so much for showing a way to make beautiful covers with regular cheap tools!
Absolutely amazing 💗
So so so beautiful!!! I want books like that!
This is incredible. 👏🏼
Your tutorial is so amazing that I felt confident enough to do this after watching once👀
These are stunning!! Super excited 2 try this!
I’ve been wondering how to do this and your series has helped me! Thank you so much😁🫶🏻
Wow this is beautiful 😍 thank you for sharing!
So gorgeous!
Thank you!!! I've been looking for a tutorial on decorated covers for soooo long! Sadly the foil and quill are not so easy to acquire in my country, but it's something I'll be on the lookout for :)
Really cool! I'd love to see some on decorative paper covers. I also saw that spoonflower has different kinds of wallpaper. i wonder if it would be a good substitute or easy way to make your own customized book cloth, since some of it is reinforced custom printed fabric.
okay this was a bit too quick for me so I'll need to rewatch it again and again. thank you for all the 3 videos!!
Amazing work again!
Peanuts 🥜 Aaaaa I can’t wait to try this out for my paperback books!!!
This seems like a good idea if one really wants their own covers!! :D
this is so inspiring , thanks!
This was so informative! Thank you so much for the clear explanation, I will be sure to try this out. (Peanuts ☺️)
Love this 🤍🤍🤍 I just have so many books I don’t know how I will do them all 😭😭
I’m going to attempt this 😂 my niece is obsessed with books, it’s hard to shop for her but I think she would love something like this!
BEAUTIFUL 😍
thank you. I will try to do with my book. ❤😊
Sooooo pretty
I LOVE your tutorials, they are so simple and informative! Could you list the materials you used? I can't find heat tranfer paper that you can use with a inkjet :( and the clear coat too, which one is it? Does it get sticky?
Sending love and thank you so much!
wow, you're super talented! You must really love it to be ready to spend so much time on it, I wouldn't be able to do it xD
tres beau!
Peanuts! This and the previous videos are fantastic! What did you use for a sealant?
I really likes the serie, I need to do it to some of my favorite book that have not pretty cover.
Question about the decorations : wouldn't it have been easier to do it with the cricut and then stick on the page?
Beautiful!! ❤️❤️ have to try!
Me waiting for Gregory and hyacinth 😩
I love watching your videos. They’re so clear and aesthetically pleasing to watch. I’ve wanted to bind my books for a very long time but couldn’t as I didn’t have the materials nor the time but now watching your tutorials I might actually give it a go. ❤
You should !! All the fancy materials in not always necessary!
I will definitely be doing this with my high school books everyone gonna be so jealous ;)
Youre an instant subscribe❤
Where did you find your design ? On internet ? Or did you use a site ? Exept that i love your video😍
What did you use to seal your cover? The protective coating.
What material did you use for the clear finishing coat? It kindof looked like white glue but I'm guessing it's something else?
Probably some sort of varnish
mod podge probably?
It looked very similar to my acrylic varnish
I searched it up and it looked really similar to van bleiswijck acrylic varnish (gloss). I'm not sure tho...
Hi!! I love your tutorial!! A question I have is how do you get the design onto the transfer paper?
Hi 👋 what type of clear coat did you use?
What edition did you use to make the designs to print onto the transfer paper?? A lot of transfer papers from Avery have entire own design studios online to work with, did you use the one that came with the transfer paper?
How did you create the design on the cover? Because I'm not very good at drawing so I was curious if there was another way
What do you use to seal the covers?
Hi! This video is so informative I love it 🥰
But can I ask, what kind of transfer paper did you use? Was it inkjet pigment or was it inkjet dye ink? I can’t find one for dye ink anywhere :((
what product was used as the clear coat at the end? is it just glue?
What clear coat did you add to seal the design that you transferred onto cover?
what did you use to seal the covers?
“I needed to find a way to do this” me: descriptive
For the cover printed on the transfer paper, can that be made using an inkjet printer with sublimation sheets?
Where did you get your transfert paper and can it be bought on Amazon ?
What did you use at the end to seal it?
what do you use as a clear coat??
Merci beaucoup pour cette vidéo ! Très informative, agréable et que dire du résultat...
Un détail me perturbe tout de même, où est le tome de Hyacinthe et Gregory ?
Peanuts Lou! Your website is returning an error. Says it isn't connected to a domain yet.
What was the transfer paper you used?
Where did you get the floral pattern from?:)
What software did you use to make the design on the transfer paper?
What kind of printer did you use for your transfer paper. Laser or ink?
Wonderfull 😍 What product is used to seal the project and do the clear cote ?
i want to know too!
How do you change the color of the texts? Like the blue book had blue roses, the pink book has red roses? Do you have a special printer or do you just choose the color on your computer and print with a normal printer? 😁 love your videos!! Super informative, can’t wait to get started myself!
maybe she changed the design color, then printed? just a guess though
What did you use to protect your book?
Gorgeous job! Just a question: what do you use to seal the covers at the end?
Same question
Acrylic varnish, I think she used gloss finish
Does the acrylic paint leave that kinda chalky feel when you pick it up?
Maybe adding a seal would reduce that problem, not sure though
Please can you tell us how to make a bigger cover for bursting junk Journals
What kind of transfer paper did you use? The brand listed is different and I can’t seem to find it anywhere ! I’ve tried everything to salvage this project
Did you find out the answer?
hey these turned out so so pretty,i want to try this too but i don't have a printer at home, can you help me with that please?like is there something i can do about it?
You may be able to visit your local library and use their printer for a small fee!
@@extracozydiy yea i was thinking about doing that also i was thinking if i could make stuff with gold leaf, but I'm not sure if that would work on the cloth
@@LissieDixonArt yea i guess i can do that
What did you use to cover the final result? Glue?
Acrylic varnish
What kind of transfer paper is this? The only kind I can find has a white background not a transparent background. Do you remember the name of the brand?
Did anyone end up with an answer to this question?
@@karunasrikureja8039I found heat n bond lite which could be taped to printer paper around the border and then printed on. It only works with an inkjet printer
Should I gild the pages before I work on the cover?
How do you get the design on it?
Does the paint crack and come off the cover as time time passes and the book is opened/closed?
Acrylic paint is flexible, so probably not
what did you use to seal it?
A simple sealer top coat ☺️
Can you list all the materials you use?❤
What transfer paper did you use for that? The one you linked doesn’t realy work because it leaves white parts after heating it over. And not transperent as yours in the video. So it wont work for any texts.
Oh no I'm sorry ! I will remove it from the links ! I actually bought mine at "action" witch is a sort of dollar store where I live and couldn't find the same anywhere on internet 😔 www.action.com/fr-fr/p/2523150/papier-transfert-pour-textile-avec/
that’s it
dust jacket it is
What is the clear
coat
A simple clear matte varnish ☺️
Does anyone know what was used in 7:04 for the clear coat?
Acrylic varnish, looks like she used gloss finish.
Please send me those books! 😩
Je me disais que l'accent était un peu français
Now all I have to do is find somewhere to by linen…
Haha ! Try to search for binding stores in your area ! they are often very small shop but you will NEVER leave hahaha
I find nothing that describes how you gilded your pages
Why is everyone calling you peanuts? I am genuinely curious
@@extracozydiy Ah, that is clever! (And I am lowkey embarrassed at being caught red-handed!)
love this tutorial, it's super helpful. one question tho, what type of clear coat do you use to seal the covers? thanks!
Just a guess, but maybe mod podge?
@@piogal34 Mod podge can get sticky though :/ so I dont think it’s that
@@heartsDmise Oh yeah, good point! I tried to slow down the video to see what the bottle was and all I could see was “Varnish”.
What program did you use to design the covers?
