Mexico did not sue the US government, but the guns manufacturers that have negligently sold arms to the Mexican Cartels and which have claimed the lives of approximately 200,000 people in Mexico at least during the past 6 years. Mexico respects the right of US citizens to bear arms.

As a Mexican, I often see Mexican authorities arresting cartel leaders, but I’ve never seen the U.S. apprehend a drug lord operating within its own borders. Do you really believe that in a billion-dollar illegal business, there are no drug lords in the U.S.? Who handles the distribution, collects the actual cash, and sends it back across the southern border?
Why is the U.S. so willing to use military force abroad instead of addressing the root causes, like the promotion of a drug culture? In my country, we don’t have marijuana dispensaries or questionable prescriptions from doctors suddenly recommending cannabis as if no other alternatives exist. This normalization starts with marijuana and escalates until you have people on the streets of major cities behaving like zombies.
If we were in Europe or South America, maybe organizaed crime violence wouldn’t even exist. But we share a massive border with the most drug-addicted nation on Earth, one that’s willing to pay exorbitant prices for illegal substances. It’s time for the U.S. to take responsibility and stop blaming others as a convenient excuse. Do you really think that bombing cartel leaders will suddenly solve the drug problem? That doesn’t address the demand or the deeper issues at play. Get you shit together and stop blamming others

It's not about your second ammendment, it's about the companies selling guns to cartels, they are trying to put the blame on the Mexican government (which is indeed incompetent in many ways, but not on this). We have our own laws and this is about gun companies helping cartels as gun buyers to break Mexican laws, not American laws, but it has to be taken there because otherwise nothing will change. Sadly, US requests Mexico to do more (rightfully so) but it's not willing to help prevent cartels from buying American guns (get your act together). A Mexican.

Thats is not the point being debated in here. Mexico is filing a lawsuit against American Gun Companies for distribution of guns in Mexico which for the most part they know undoubtably that will land in hands of the Cartels which create a major terror for Mexican citizens. But they are seeing the reality of things, most of those companies have to type of connection (monetary) to people in the government and they will try to be their voice. Its stupid overall, U.S. blames Mexico for all the drugs that cross the border and Mexico blames the U.S. for all the weapons that cross their border. At the end of the day they are both in the wrong as both have agencies (customs/ICE/DEA) and others to prevent such things.

Making Americans lessened by loss of 2A rights means Mexico protects its citizens in home invasions.
