I dunno why but the food kinda taste better with wooden utensils. Maybe unlike the plastic there are no unwanted chemicals and unlike metal it doesn't scratch my pan. If the pan is scratched then it has that black very small amount of residue that can affect the food. Or maybe the the natural taste is just so good.
I kind of can get behind that, I love wooden kitchen stuff, but mostly this new bamboo stuff. I have a bamboo breakfast board, a fitting bowl and spoon that I use at least once a day... it is really nice, but hard to describe what makes it nicer than metallic or plastic stuff.
