$258 for 180 months which is 15 years if you do the math that comes out to A little more than $46 for a $31,000 boat. that’s a little more than $15,000 in interest🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 but there’s a sucker born every day
Well… I was hoping to be on the market for one of these. Then the hyper inflation and Uber high interest rates crashed my savings… jacked the price of the boats… and drastically raised the cost of loans. I shall be waiting for the crash or going used.
Yeah I don’t think they are selling a whole lot of boats right now. I’m glad I made this video then and might of saved you running up there and seeing for yourself. Hopefully it all changes and things get better.
Boats are higher new but can last a long time if you can take care of them. You buy used boats for 10 thousand or more and end up replacing things all the time. Then you end up buying 5 of them you spent more that 30 thousand bucks. My grandpa had the same boat for 15 years garage kept. I have had 4 boats in ten years and spent more than he did on his one boat. There are always ups and downs to both ways.
Plus’s fright and prep. With that boat you are looking at $46,000 plus by the time you pay it off. Depending on your credit score. You average person can’t afford a new boat and more. I found a nice and used very little 2003 Ranger 185 VS with A Yamaha Vmax 150 for $15,000. It’s my 7th bass boat in 40 years I’m 58 years old and it will be my last one. I hope some day you can get you a really nice rig to fish out of. 👍
I knew the actor in the following story. Guy wants boat but no money. Wife never had a say in family finances. Guy has brilliant idea. He quits his job with the “understanding “ that he will be rehired in 60 days. He takes out his retirement to buy the boat. He was a very marginal employee and if the company fired him then the guy would have filed unemployment which means a hit to the company. Yep. Guy puts his brilliant plan into action, buys the boat, goes back to his former employer and there is no position for him. He always thought he was smarter than anyone else. The company was smarter and it did not cost them a dime.
Question. What is the average height on the front? 28 inch??
I don’t have exact measurements but that seems about right
15 year finance for a little boat means you can’t afford it.
Yep it’s expensive
This is a nice saltwater boat

That was a 22k boat just 2 years ago. Wow
Isn’t that crazy. Prices are so much higher
I knew I should have bought one back then
@@veteransdieselgarage7607 Same but in a way I am glad I didn't. Turns out a small center console was a better fit for me
26 k and some change base price
Just got mine for 30k even plus trolling motor, trailer breaks upgrade, power steering, and fish finder. But mines a 60 hp

Yep those are some really good points.
Evidently your grandfather took better care of his boats. And boats were easier to work on back then or at least the motors was.
Awesome review
Thank ya I appreciate it

Hey Robert! They be a coming. I just finished up a complete house remodel all the way to the studs and it’s time to be fishing way more often

That’s a good buy Harlan. It’s crazy how expensive all of them have gotten. You would be paying for a lifetime just to have a boat.
