It never ceases to amaze me that people build over the top of known drain openings. I’ve lost count of how many times you’ve had to remove stone work covering a drain opening.
Today I learned that tennis balls do not go down the drain. I also learned that plumbing access points shouldn't have retaining walls built on top of them.
Seems like Ollie has more than his fair share of "Oh there is a drain cleanout there so lets put a wall on top of it." Makes you want to tell the customer that in order to fix your drain we need to bring in an excavator, tear out the wall and dig up the backyard.
Ollie, thank you for posting. Former plumber on a ship in US Navy. Good to see the follow thru from clearing drain, accessing pipe, and repair. All Good👍 Sacramento, CA.
Ok people! This is what a true hero looks like! All you people with a nice cozy desk jobs? Ask yourself, could you do this job? Do you realize what would happen if people like Ollie & Michael weren't here to fix your drains? Blue collar people rock! All good! 🤩👍💪
The man the one we all love the one that makes us smile second to none the Drain Addict right on time Much love my friend and may God always Bless you and yours.
Great one Ollie. Loved Michael's Puns too: 'Phillapoosis' cracked me up. Breakfast went everywhere. Love the longer format, nice to see what happens when the job doesn't get the thumbs up on first visit.
Hi from uk olli and mascotts and micheal today👍👋 great job as allways 👍playing with them balls in the hole was fun I bet lol pleased job all done and to great standard👌 the weakest link had to be the tarp at end tho letting team down (bin that ) and anyone got oxygen mask for end please😂 your liability went up 20% before you fell over hyperventilating 🤔😂 thanks for for your time and be safe see you soon👍
This is the 3rd video this week my friend! You are so generous with your time. This is a very interesting and long episode!😌😁 Might've worked better with a screw. Can't wait to see what happens!!
I still can't belive someone use the toilette while Ollie was in the hole with the pipes cut open.... but I guess if you gotta go, you gotta go. :) Everyone should take a moment and appreciate ppl that still dosen't mind getting their hands dirty.
They absolutely could've still used the toilet but held off on the flushing. Especially if it was just #1. Looks like someone forget the saying "If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down."
An extraordinary video and solution to a enormous problem. Your mate came to help you, and that was a great help. Your the best at your business. Cheers Ollie and your helper! 🇦🇺🙂👍🇺🇸
Wow Guys this one was EPIC! Loved every second of it and am so glad I was watching from my recliner lol.. Lots of hard work and a great lesson for us. You guys did a great job. Thanx. Oh and wonderful to see Ratty and Croc back on the job!
First class repair!, well done to the team. Condolences on losing an all time great Aussie this week, probably the greatest cricketer ever, RIP Warnie, a legend.
oh man, this one was a war. Curve balls, between a rock and a hard place, camera bayonet, call for backup, stuck in the trenches, storm water + #1, hard work, all good.
I've watched every one of your videos and I believe this one was your best. make more of these where we actually see you digging up problems and fixing them, well done
Ollie, cheers to you mate. I had to pause the video at 47 mins because that is absolutely insane how crushed and destroyed that pipe was. The wall being built on top of that inspection port was "genius" as well, but you sir are amusing worker. Top drawer. An absolute legend
Your complete lack of complaining about all that was wrong with the initial installation and the items in the line is impressive Ollie. Most men would be swearing their heads off! God bless you.
A long DA Sunday! Why would someone think it was a good idea to put a protruding brick right there??! I love your whit and humor Ollie. And we had the _whole gang_ today! Yay!
If Jimmy Hoffa had disappeared in Australia, Ratty would have found him in this job! My back hurts just watching-that’s really hard work. Job well done!
Great job Ollie. I especially love how this video showed not only a blocked drain, but what and why is was blocked and then the repair. From start to finish. Cheers from Las Vegas, Nevada
One thing about your profession, you will never run out of work,as long as man walks the earth,he will be taking a dump, day or night.so your guaranteed.enjoy all the videos you and the crew put out.just keep on doing what your doing 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Can't imagine how hot and humid the weather was when you were working down there in the trench, Ollie! Excellent repair to both pipes there, my friend!
Hats off to you Ollie and your digger friend that ways some back breaking work I'd say it's time for a cold brew cheers 🍺🍻💕 Oh yes great idea with the tarp I'll pass that one along thanks guys definitely a job well done 🍺🍺
They should really have back filled with a new load of sand. There are 2 reasons for this. One is that sand is generally more stable than dirt and so won't put pressure on the pipes or pierce the plumbing in the future. The second reason is that sand is so much easier for the next plumber to dig up who has to fix/replace the plumbing
Hello Olly, one of the better videos showing the problem and the repair. Perseverance and innovation to remove the blockage caused by balls. At the same time I admire you and other drain cleaners and repairers who dare to enter this strange world, to rid the pipe works of debris. Sitting here in South Africa I wonder how you would handle the thousands of blocked drains we have here. The raw sewage has penetrated natural water sources and dams, the fish have been wiped out with all living organisms. It is totally unfit for human and animal consumption or to be used for irrigation. Looking at the Australian situation with all the flooding, I'm thinking of your waterways and water systems being blocked by flood waters. How are you handling that situation? Please share some of your experiences to sort out the problems in Australia. All the best to you all.
Besides that job site, you were on where you and the other gents got into the hole. I think this is the first video that has you fully ripping out the old pipe and replacing it. I definitely enjoy watching the whole process! I also enjoy how long this video was. I had plenty of time to soak everything in.
Yippee, over an hour of Ollie, Ratty, Baby Rat and Croc and if we're lucky...... Magpie might make an appearance? Thanks Ollie, you've made my Sunday Night! ✊👍✌✊⛪
@@Kidney7661 Magpie is on office duty I heard. Ever since she lost a leg, then the magnet transplant didn’t work out she just needed a change of pace to regroup.
Ollie that n 's for posting another great video. I really think that your time and energy in bringing the video on line should be praised by all your followers. The hard work you both put into this repair amazed me, Did you ever find out who in the world covered up the access point to the pipe with the wall? Keep on posting your vids and once again thank you for taking the time to edit and post them. Your time and enthusiasm is much appreciated by myself and others. Regards to Croc and the rats.👏👏👏👏 best wishes from a UK fan.
That was a lot of work! Great job Ollie! I’m really glad we got to see it start to finish, and see the whole process being done, again great work and amazing video as always!
Ollie could've told us earlier that he planned on saving the episode 600 special for 615 because of... reasons? 🤣Anyways, nice repair! Great to see some repiping action.
Half your luck! My bit of Australia is experiencing a prolonged heatwave (around 36deg Celsius, 40ish in western parts) and Brisbane and Sydney have been having terrible, prolonged flooding. I’d kill for a few inches of snow right now!
That was the best video I've ever seen you do so far. What a job your persistence your never-give-up attitude is inspiring! Would very much to see more videos as good as this one great job. God bless and take care. Tony
Holey Kerap Ollie !!!! I do hope jobs like this come along in the future, where a mini excavator can fit... I do believe there was a fair bit of satisfaction when the job was finished... Even if it was a cold beer or 2 at the local watering hole... Cheers mate... Awesome job completed to perfection...
So many of these houses are crammed up on each other badly enough that Ollie has to turn sideways to get to the back of the house. No room for a micro excavator much less a mini. Edit: Now if you could get Demolition Dave to stop in from Victoria to blast something stubborn into smithereens, that would be worthy of more than a fair bit of satisfaction.
Kudos for getting those balls out of the area of the broken drain Ollie. You got Michael ( can you do some work Ollie ?) to dig down to the dang chalkered pipe which didn't look easy in this rubble and root filled area. Lots of dirty hard work in the hole! 😩 Great job on an epic repair Ollie and Michael!😅

I’m amazed that there’s actually people out there that need to learn things like that the hard way, but here we are 😅
Whoever built that wall needs to spend time in plumbers prison.
Neither do washcloths and feminine hygiene products.
