    I'm doing this at the moment (my first time!!!!) I do however have the luxury of a classroom, teacher and other students - albeit on an evening class timetable. It's a slow process. Your videos have helped a great deal, Thanks.

    Nice job man, I build custom guitars yet I constantly find myself watching you acoustic and classical builders. It's very cool if I had more space in my shop to add the necessary jigs and fixtures I would definitely try my hand at this art. Some day for sure but my shop is cramped as it is. I still love watching acoustic builds though. Oh yeah and I really dig that old blue vice, she's a beauty.

    I really like the way you pinned your headstock plates, I've never done it that way I usually just stick half a toothpick in and slide the plates over one at a time but I actually like your way better, it's way more controlled. Very cool.

    what's the normal degree angle of the guitar's neck? Is it made out of 2 pieces of would glued together?

    • @advankuijk
      @advankuijk  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The neck is scarf joined and the degree angle is between 15 and 18 degrees; My guitars are 15 degree.

    I meant to write I build electric guitars, that last comment probably seemed confusing. Not that anyone cares.

      Because It's a cool video, every artist finds a different path to get what they want, just because it's not the way you think its supposed to be doesn't make it wrong. I build guitars, I do it different than this man but I still enjoy and respect his craft. There is room for everybody's way and you can learn from everyone if you keep an open mind and don't assume you already know everything.
