Nice to see you got a Stay Fresh machine! Worked right out of the box with no bandages needed! Obviously not one of the "OTHER" machines that needs Freon or warranty parts right out of the box. That would be a Harvest Blight machine every time! Stay Fresh looks like a serious upgrade so far! Thanks for the video!
hey bud, my instruction are different from the pump I have received. I have two valves on the pump, one with some filter on and the other as is. the vacuum hose can connect to both of them, could you please elaborate how to figure out which one of them am i connecting the vacuum hose to, the other other end of which is already connected to the freeze dryer itself. Thanks a lot
Send me an email to admin@fixmyfd.com and send me a picture and let’s see if we can figure it out. Or give Tim a call at StayFresh and he will have you up and running very fast
I been told to buy this Brand i been watching so many different videos on alot of different ones I'm definitely gunna focus on this one i just hope I'm able to set things up myself do they have payment options or do I have to pay full price
Yes we got the new oil in it to the max level line. At first we thought the door wasn’t sealing. We adjusted the door and sprayed water, door seems to seal, we took the pump hose off machine and I put my finger over hose and turned pump on, it sucks, but not very hard, there’s no suction coming from the drain hose site either when all the valves are open. This thing is BRAND NEW!! It should be working fine!!!
I am interested in hearing from anyone that has bought this brand of Freezedryer and how is it working for you? And if you have any problems with it how is customer service?
Great questions. I hope some people leave comments for you. Some people love the machines they use others hate them. That’s why I created this page to try having an unbiased opinion of these machines.
@@freezedryerrepairsupport Thanks for the reply. So there is no functionality upgrade from it such as reduced batch times? its all about the oil changes?
Having a freeze dryer is great, but definitely stay away from Harvest Right. Not a reputable company. If you include all of the repair costs, I am at about $400 per batch. They even charge you a fee to let you order parts - that is a fee to talk to the support person so that you can pay for the replacement parts. Even when you have taken it all apart and know what part it is, you still have to pay a fee for the privilege to buy a replacement.

So, do I need to run the pump for 60 minutes before using the machine? Do I run the pump alone or connect it to the machine?
Thank you.
No need to run the pump before. Hook it up to your machine
@@freezedryerrepairsupport thank you.
It would be great if you had someone filming who zoomed in to show details / closer views to show what you are doing

Very easy step up. Go to stayfresh.com and they do have some payment options I belive
I got mine on a payment option.
We just set ours up and the pump is sucking, but not very hard and isn’t dropping the tor or whatever it’s called. What’s going on???

Ok we learned about the “valve open “ button to open the valve. But it still isn’t vacuuming. This is pissing me off!!!
Just hooking up my new stay fresh. I noticed in your video you say to close the gas ballast but my directions say to open it. A bit confused.
Follow what they say they might have updated some institutions
Thanks

What is the difference between the standard and industrial pump? their website doesnt really explain it. the price difference is $800ish
Standard pump is oil changes every 3 batches. Industrial pump is every 40. Well worth the upgrade

@@timstrand2523 not that I am aware of. I have talked to users who are using the standard and they feel we run about the same times
