I'm trying to use Kratky in my basement. The average day time temp down there is 60 degrees F. in Newry, Maine. Can I start growing or do I need heat pads? I also have grow lights. What grows best in the cold?

Seeds need a little warmth to germinate. Lettuce, pak choi, chard, etc are good cold weather plants
