I have to admit, building SD Gunplas is something that wasn’t really in my mind. I’m sure I’m not the only person that has, for some reason, a preference for model kits that are proportional to their references. But now, having finally built not just one but three, I finally get why a lot of fans are passionate about them! Regardless of the model, SD Gunplas just exude personality. The charming exaggeration of their features highlights what makes a certain mobile suit unique. And finally, SD Gunplas may be the best way to introduce to others the world of kit building. Speaking of Battle Alliance,
After finishing building Musha, Knight, and Command Gundam, I also managed to play them in SD Gundam Battle Alliance on the Nintendo Switch. Because I didn’t preorder the game, I had to unlock them post-game, and boy was it hard to get! You have to beat them in a fight all at once, and a couple of times haha. I asked our friends from Bandai Namco to lend a hand in obtaining them. They gave me a code that at least unlocked Command Gundam. So I realized that the only way to complete the three is to git gud and power through the game. Good thing I did, because not only did I make the most out of what I paid for the game, it also enriched my relationship with and my experience in building Musha, Knight, and Command, which is quite important for me to dub something as meaningful content, not just a video to get by.
