I am from India. I was in Copenhagen for two months in 2018. Two of my co-workers from Copenhagen play Disc Golf. They invited me to play with them. I had never heard about this game before. But after playing 12 holes with them at Valbyparken, Copenhagen, I became a huge fan of this game. After returning to India, I was missing this game. Then I found Disc Golf Valley app when Simon Lizzot and Eagle McMahon competed each other online in Disc Golf Valley. And now I am exactly at Level 99 in this game. Thank you very much for developing this game. This is the only game that I have in my mobile phone.
This game has made me aware of certain discs that I've purchased and now have in my bag like the Musket, Fuse, Pure, Havoc, Ballista Pro, and Keystone. And the way you throw in the game translates to real life if you gauge your form and power correctly.
Disc Golf Valley VR is hands down the best VR disc golf game and just feels so right. Fantastic job to the developers and team that has made this game. I cant get enough!
this game is super helpful for beginners btw! I learned so much about shot shapes and shot selection that would otherwise have taken me dozens of hours to figure out in real life
As a beginner player, this game is incredibly useful to help me learn basics because it gets you thinking... how to read the course, the wind, what type of throw to make, what play to make to get out of bad situations, etc. The biggest addition I wish for is it would be great if the game told you the flight ratings of each disc, because I do not know all the disc specs by memory.
Just started playing. I stayed up waaaaaaaay too late playing this the first night. For some reason it was so exciting for me to get a disc in-game that I bag IRL. I am an adult man, with responsibilities and shit, yet I still felt my brain deliver a dopamine hit when I unlocked the River for the first time. Being so understable it doesn't feel as useful in-game as it is in real life with my noodle arms.
As someone who is totally all in on DGV (and just finally made it to over 1000 rated!!!) I would LOVE to get virtual versions of real courses. Maybe the emporia country club?!
Played this in VR last night. So much fun! A little bug where i lost my interface/disc after going to oculus home menu and then back into the game, but nothing else in terms of bugs. Oh and i almost broke my finger, backhanding into my closet on hole 9 here.
I love the holes that would be impossible to build on a real course. And I love that there are a couple holes from famous courses sprinkled in. Delaveaga, la miranda, and many others classic holeson the pdga tour and we get to play them virtually on the best disc golf game out there.
Hole 8...extra glide accurate compass...(LHBH) aim slightly lefy and above the pin...and full power with barely any anhyser.....every time....that compass is BEAUTIFUL
This video is fun to watch, but i would love to see a video with good DGV players like Sascha Görtz, David Sallee, Aro Caitlin, Jonni Korhonen,... BTW you can get a Driver in under 30 min with a new account...
Hole 8: Use a ''glide'' Fuse and aim slightly to the left of the basket (maybe compensate for the wind a little). Throw straight and never miss the island again.
I have a question for the craftsmen at Lat64. Why are some discs flat and some domey despite them being the same mold? My retro Pure is flat but my opto pure is Domey.
Johannes helped me out here :) "Different plastics behave differently. Zero and Retro plastic is always very flat, just like we want to have our putters. Our premium plastics like Opto and Gold shrinks when it cools down after birth, that shrinkage gives the discs a dome. This is perfect for discs made throwing longer as the dome provides extra glide. Hope that answers the question. There’s more to it but disc production is difficult and technical. All the best!"
Hopefully they can implement some of the discs from the players like the MVP lineup from Conrad, or some from Gibsons. Or a Luna from Paul, or the Malta. and so on.
Am I totally wrong, or does it normally require a penalty stroke, to re-throw your disc in PDGA rules? In Disc Golf Valley it has different rules, which is kind of confusing :-/ PDGA cost your stroke +1, so if you re-throw your first drive, you'd be using your thrid shot. In Disc golf valley, you just dismis and use the last lie - but still keep potential penalties tho. That said, I love the game :) thanks for making it! It helps me understand disc golf
I really like the game, having a good balance between real disc golf and a computer game. It definitely has the same feeling as real disc golf. I use Disc Golf Valley to train my mental game for real disc golf. Hitting a tree or ending up in the water makes you as angry as in real life and you need to get over it!
#7 easily reachable with Compass. Same as #8 actually. And BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! For safe play on #9 Compass is all you need as well. BTW sometimes wind with speed 1 seems to be affecting the disc way too much compared to stronger winds. #9 How do you park on the middle island?! (But Eagle is easily reachable from the firsts right island as well...)
Make the game less rainy, and it will look better and be more enjoyable to play.. rain rarely puts people in a good mood lol ;) Btw.. this course requiers alot of swimming or avilable boats xD
You make it very difficult to give feedback on DGValley. Just finished owlwood WITHOUT hitting a single tree at -2, plain and simple you screwed me. this game is %$$##$%%^!!!@@!!!!!, ENOUGH SAID
Hey! Here's some very nice stuff for you 😀🤘 /Jonathan

Pure is the greatest disc ever made. Threw it since it came out.
I think the same about the Fuse, beats the Buzzz in my opinion which is like disc golfs most reputable mid
@@georgetheanimal658 Fuse and Pure are my favorite discs in game. will have to give them a try IRL
I now have go-to Explorers because of this game.
@@jordanashford7521 pure, fuse, river, explorer, pioneer. all in my bag now :)

I already had this game downloaded. It's crazy how realistic you can apply this game to yourself in real life lol.

Virtual Pro Tour Courses would be really cool!
Maple Hill!!
The canyons lockport illinois
5th best rated in u.s. on udisc
Just happened!
I cant get back to 900...i was 907...but..THEY PUT A REAL COURSE.
Thanks Per for the light glide b pro in the shop today! WOOO
Great job Per! This game is amazingly awesome! 👏

Crazy to see the origins of the game and where its come to be
I'm a huge fan of DGV. I have learned more to help my gameplay on real courses. I hope this game continues to add more great content.
Great game and please support the creators! I look forward to all of the new courses to come!

i will immediately put this on our Disc Golf Valley Players Page!!!
Don't. We all learned nothing.
Good idea, it definitely gets you hooked in DG.
Maple hill hole 14!!!
Boom! Did you see Simon "ace" that hole recently? Off of the ice!
@@aaronmayhew2.0 that was a sick shot! Casey was filming that one
Nice achievement at the end, Jonathan! Let us know when you have got a Ballista ;) Every day is DGV-day. Awesome job, Per & co!
Cheers :)
At least the designer agrees with me about hole 8 on this course. It is diabolical.
This course is free to play, but the boat rentals will set you back.
Haha yeah 😂
Hole 8...extra glide accurate compass...(LHBH) aim slightly lefy and above the pin...and full power with barely any anhyser.....every time....that compass is BEAUTIFUL
Love it! Love the game! It’s so close the the real thing on so many levels! Lol I hope more discs get added soon, or a bit of a revamped store system.
13:08 Maple Hill Golds hole 14?
You are correct. Hole 6 is maple hills gold hole 5
Love this game; finally made it downtown! 🤪
Jonathan are a real legend👀🔥
Haha thank you!
"maritime law" 😂😂
Does doug play DGV?
Lmao "maritime law" has stuck to disc golf terminology and I'm so glad.

"what do we do here?"
"...get some panic going?"
Maple valley- don’t remember the hole number, but it’s the one where Lizotte threw in an ace trick shot bouncing off ice.
Meshuggah, nice.
I had the same idea about real courses. Lol, virtual would be dope.
Hole 8: Use a ''glide'' Fuse and aim slightly to the left of the basket (maybe compensate for the wind a little). Throw straight and never miss the island again.
I´ll give it a try :) /Jonathan
Please do this with that creator dude for every hole.. yes. Thank you. 😁
This game is high quality. I love they create holes so perfect yet so realistic
It's been a month since this video. We need more Jonathan!!!
Haha theres more to come very shortly. Just about finished a video.
There´s a new video now 😂

Maple hill !
Love this game! The PC version on steam does have an issue with google log in. Great stuff though.
So what's up with that new Maple Hill Gold course? Maybe that'll be the next real course???
Hole 7 in game is it based off Maple Hill? Not sure what hole but looks very similar
Is hole 7 a maple hill hole? The one Simon skip aces off the ice
I do think so when reading other comments here. I´m not sure for myself, haha. /Jonathan
Great Video!!!
Is hole 7 based on the hole from Maple Hill?
Thats why I always go for the island on 8, no lay up. Im just as likely to miss the close shot like he did.
When are you going to update the VR version of this game?
is there a way to play this on PC? that would be great!
Yes you can! Ive used emulators in the past.
@@robinbinder8464 what is an emulator?
@@aaronmayhew2.0 an emulator is software that enables the computer to behave like another system. (like a smartphone)

Except that you could lose discs if that happen whilst you still have them in DGV.
Could pat give me a few discs?? I REALLY need a BALISTA PRO extra glide big skip... would be perfect
I purchased a winter pack and it wont give me my discs. Is there a way i can talk to someone about it.
Hey, Robert. You can send an email to here: support@spinoffgames.se
This game is awesome!
i think my best on lakeside is -12 lol. could be better, could be worse
is their a PC version ?
Sorry now but I think there are solutions to do if you want to play on a pc :). Have a nice day! /Jonathan
Is the a disc 15?
When you throw, what is the distance of each line?
You mean in the game or in general? /Jonathan
@@Latitude64 In the game, when you pull back the disc there's lines. Does each line represent a distance?
@@jamesbevis7681 The three lines yes. And on each side you either get hyzer or anhyzer :)
That depends on the disc.
What irl hole is hole 7?
hole 14 maple hill
Hole 6 I use the compass with a decent amount of anhyzer with full power and almost always hit the stone for a 4m putt

The accurate extra glide compass..(green burst)...is the best disc in the game.....and the heave accurate dagger....BEAUTIFUL putter..
Virtual! Yes please!
I'm kinda depressed there's more money in my DGV bags than my real life one. Also tell the truth. Are all hazards magnetic?
I feel like there is a lot of inspiration from Maple Hill in this game
Did anyone else try and click the screen a couple times - because you okay DGV way too much?
Hole 8 is so rng based.
Does it seem to anyone else that normal shots that are really usually easy and you hit all the time become a little bit more difficult in the Pro Tour
How in the world do I get a distance driver
Here's a link with some good info about DGV: how-do-i-get-a-distance-driver.com/w/index.php?title=Disc_Golf_Valley_User_Guide / Johannes

Why can’t they put this on the Oculus Quest store
Hole 7 looks kinda like maple hill hole 14
Oh my god Per was Doug all along...
This should be a wii game !
Coming from a self-certified dorito-munching disc golf valley pro, some of this advice is terrible. Entertaining video nevertheless!
Update, Please!
I hit the island oh hole 8 constantly just throw a compass lmaoooo
funny you say multiple times how good the explorer is, it hits that island 9 times out of ten ;)
Fucking Doug made it overseas, what a legend
Maritime Law? 😂😂😂

In VR if you would finish it :(
See thats what happens when you lay up
It's Maple Hill, but it's hole #5, not #14
it's definitely hole 14 unless there's a joke i'm missing here
It's an ok game but it's just grindy af! I'm a single dad and just don't gave the time so it got uninstalled pretty quick
