My last day of active duty was 3 days ago, and now McKenna is starting her time on active duty! It’s so cool seeing her excitement because that’s exactly how I felt 4 years ago. McKenna is going to do great!

i still remember USAF bootcamp like it was yesterday. It was easy for me because i was in a military marching band in high school, i was playing 4 sports also and my parents were very strict with my dad in my face at times....so it was smooth ride for me. they will just play mind games with you.

There is NO joy and excitement during BMT, if that's present, BMT fails you. Its critical to always be on edge, because that is the basis of the responsibility required in the operational Air Force.

Finally got to take the ASVAB today. I don't want to brag so I won't say my score but suffice to say I'm qualified for any job in the Air Force! Very excited to move along in the process

I'm here in San Antonio rn for security forces tech school. I got one more week to go. bmt is pretty simple and watered down nowadays. doesn't seem like it used to be
I wonder what base she will be stationed at once she is permanent party. I’m stationed at Minot but I’m currently on a deployment in Qatar. Anyways, as long as she has the right mindset everything else will follow through, she’ll do great I’m sure of it!
OmG, I’m nervous for her. My son leaves in 60 days and I can feel how close it’s getting. He’s trying to soak in everything at home and hang out with everyone right now.
We use google photos so as soon as we take pictures or videos it goes to the cloud for google photos. I download them and edit them on the computer. Makenna won't be editing videos until after tech school. She will shoot them, upload them to the cloud and I'll download them, edit, and upload them. Teamwork :)
