I mean the interpretation of these powers changed a bit: beside speed he also has Mercury's flight ability, and also the reboot added lightning as part of "power of Zeus" and played up his kid personality therefore muffling his wisdom, but it's still basically the same. Superman on the other hand started with one simple premise: Earth has lighter gravity than his home planet, so he could run very fast, jump really high, and lift heavy things. THAT'S IT! Then the writers started cheaply adding in stuff for no reason: suddenly he started flying, he could travel through time at will, he had x-ray vision, he could transform his appearance any way he liked, he had heat vision, freezing breath... Some of these stuck, some of them didn't, but when you look at how out of nowhere his powers are, you realize they basically screwed up the premise.
