    For anyone wondering....As of Fimware 3.01 You can feed timecode into the multi port. You need to set TC to free run & turn user bit time rec off. You need "Tentacle Sync 3.5mm TRS to Multi Interface Timecode Cable" (C24 cable). Confirmed working with my camera today (Using a tentacle sync not the rode wireless system).

    I'm trying to use the audio timecode out from the F6 to the a7C, and when Im recording the video on the a7C I can hear the timecode noise, but when I try to update it in DaVinci using "update timecode from audio track" in the media page, its not even close to the timecode data in the F6 file. Any ideas what the problem might be?

    Can you disconnect your Zoom F6 from your Sony FX3 after connecting for timecode or does it have to stay connected? Can I use the zoom f6 as the timecode generator?

    You should be able to use the K3M with the MI Shoe on sony alpha cameras if you want to use an XLR mic along with the Tentacle at the same time!

    It is important to know that, with timecode, the sound recorded on the camera is not good;
    (and programmes like Premiere Pro are not suitable for editing this footage).
    Thank you Portland Event Films.

    Have u ever attempted to use a slate clapper board like Filmsticks in conjunction with your Tentacle Sync E Timecode w/ Bluetooth devices & the Track E Pocket Recorder? If so, did that work out? U mentioned that sometimes, u had forgotten to synch everything in advance and headaches in post matching. During those times, had u also slated, as a backup if for no other reason than just to have a backup? 😎😎
