I had no idea that shanks and she were in a relationship. She was actually pregnant with his kid at the time. Awww that’s so sweet. And then in 2003 he married who would be cast as Doctor Lam later in season 9 of SG-1
Vaitiare is wonderful! I'm happy that she was happy with the decision, but it also makes me sad that Sha're wasn't planned to be written out. I loved her and her relationship with Daniel.
I was very excited to watch this clip and hear from Vaitiare herself about the Sha're storyline and how it ended for her! Vaitiare seems like such a sweet, caring, and proud mama, with a poster of Tatiana's award-winning short film in the background. So cool to hear from her directly, and she looks beautiful here!
I thought the title was a little click-baity, but then I saw the creator and said to myself if anyone was going to do this right, it be him. Thank you for another great video, and I’m sorry for judging a book by its cover.
Tbh, all of the original Abydosian characters shouldn't have been in the show at all. The movie and show are distinctly different toned universes, especially if we include the show's pilot. I don't think those characters served any other purpose besides "getting the ball rolling" on SG1.
@@astrapsy Yeah, like I said, "to get the ball rolling" with SG1. But let's not forget how things turned out for the Abydosians in the show....after years of getting away from the old Egyptian lore, suddenly Ra left a battery more powerful than a ZPM on a random planet in his domain? And apparently a bunch of ancient Go'uld had equally powerful batteries? How did they ever lose to the Asgard then??? Anubis uses the batteries once to blow up Abydos then Jonas short circuits his ship and suddenly several episodes worth of mcguffin chasing go out the window, never to be mentioned again.
@@0LadyV0 NO!! That was "The Lost City" tablet and all it was was a written story about Atlantis. But not the in-universe city of Atlantis, an in-universe fictional story about Atlantis. Like a Lantean short story for children. The actual in-universe city of Atlantis was discovered through the Antarctic digsite.
Whatever makes you happy, go for it. Forever In A Day was one if my favorite episodes.
Same here!
I had forgotten that she and Shanks were in a relationship. She is gorgeous.

Nice to know the bigwigs listened to her & she got to leave under happy circumstances.

Still such a beautiful lady! 😊
Doesn't feel pretty?
She looks great now!
Appreciate your Channel David! Godspeed

I wonder if we'd seen a longer story-arc with Sha're if Vitiate had her daughter a few years later than OTL?
She seems delightful, and I'm glad she was also on another show because, I hate to say this, her portrayal of Sha're was extremely lacklustre.
Not shocked but gods she is still a beauty!
They were probably just fed up with complaints about them butchering Sha'uri's name!
Hey David
You mentioned something about brad write thats hes working on a new thing. Is he working on a new stargate show or this clip is old.
This clip is from 2020. Sorry for the confusion.
New series?
This is from our 2020 interview.

At the time only the movie existed, so it was the hook to get Daniel involved as a team member, which worked well for the first few seasons

I liked that the series brought characters from the movie into it. It gave it roots.
They found out about Atlantis, on Abydos. Did it also get Atlantis going?

They were right to write her off, because she added nothing to the story anymore and it made for a great emotional arc.
