Never thought there would ever be a soulslike game, where the final antipodal will take the "Worst ever soulslike final boss" trophy from King Allant, but here we go. You know it's witty from the developers that they wanted to show the community, what Dark Souls 3 would have been like if not Soul of Cinder but instead Deacons of The Deep had been at the end of the main game's story, but why? I really hope lack of money was behind it and not that this was planned as a final boss from the beginning of the project.
Considering that in one of the endings we literally fight with a reskin of Pieta, then most likely yes.
I feel like I wasted 25h of my life for nothing -_-

King Allant isn't supposed to be hard. Him being weak and pitiful is the point, because that's what King Allant became after leading Boletaria to destruction in an effort to become more powerful. If you don't know this, you know it now, and if you already did know that, then you're shallow for shoving a piss take down your own throat when you know damn well there already is a challenging King Allant fight literally right before you fight the real one.

There are 3 endings, and for each ending the final boss is different. The other two are far batter fights.

@@w12266no, this is even more pathetic than King Allant because Adyr was hyped the hell up since the original games as this unfathomably powerful god who should never be manifested in the human realm... This was the most anticlimactic final boss fight ever.
King Allant was a pretty good fight

There are three endings. This is probably the weird and non satisfactory one.
I dont like this fight, because i dont like gimmicky fights. But its not that super easy as it looks. You are on timer here, and these fire attacks and lava floors deal a lot of dmg.
Also the real final boss is the guy you fight before it- monarch.
No joke is the fight i die the most of all in the game😂, is really stupid but there is lava all over the ground and its impossible to get clean attacks without getting burned

So much hate ! People are acting like they are being forced to buy this game 😂 I personally really enjoyed this game . Some bosses were so hard I had to watch videos on how to beat them or beacon helper . Good game hopefully they make a part 2.

LOL this is the final boss? I hated how many of these "thrall" enemies we had to fight during the game. Then they make the final boss a bunch of Thrall. That's pathetic

Sooo the final boss is a gimmick fight…..wow….that seems extremely lazy and anticlimactic.
They could’ve easily made this into a Yhorm/Rykard type boss and put his monologue before the actual fight. I’m honestly just sad, this fight could’ve been one of the coolest in the game but instead it’s just a more obnoxious version of deacons of the deep.

More than the fact that the final boss is only a minion fight I hate that he talks the entire time. Like, for real, you can't even concentrate on anything because he never stops talking.

rennala is still much better than this pile of creep. This is more like a nerfed version of Deacons in DS3. Very disappointing.

I didnt know you can explode the orbs with your lantern. I was going into soul from to hit those orbs.
I believe the reason behind this "final boss joke" is that there might have been budget constraints (couldn't pay game designers and game developers etc. anymore), So they released a botched up game.

I really hate this kind of final boss, i improve my skill and farm my character not to fight a pack of goons, the big guy should come down, being 3m tall or something, and give me epic 1-1 fight.

Would have been better if Phase 1 was dealing with minions and Phase 2 dealing with human sized Adyr.
