the fact that this guy makes it a point to say "feel free to use my templates to sell and make money on" got him a sub from me. i just started in leatherwork and its really hard to find cool patterners that dont cost more then my tools did.
Thanks for including a free template. I feel sometimes like leather is a secret society that I’m not allowed to know the dimensions of things without a hefty price!
I just started leather-working more as a hobby than anything else and your videos are the best in this platform to follow along. Keep up the good work!
Really nice looking piece of leather and the wallet looks useful with very attractive dimensions. Thanks a lot for making your patterns available, it's much appreciated.
I love these as a project. Pretty simple, but still interesting to make. Another idea for a pen holder, you can simply punch a hole near the top of the spine. An oval belt hole punch is ideal, but a round hole will also work. Just slip the pen's clip through the hole to the outside. Or you could line the inside of the project and leave a pocket where the clip can go.
Letters size printer paper isn’t Available where I live. Do I need to make any adjustments to the pattern when printing on A4 paper or will the actual dimensions remain the same on the print out?
So funny… this was my next project. I’ve got the sketches already to go, mine is a little different as I want to have a pen / pencil holder somewhere. Great video!

I appreciate it, Brendan! I've already made a couple of these. Super fun and easy build.

Oooh I like that idea! I might need to revisit this video with pen holder updates!

Try gaffer's tape instead of masking tape; it's designed not to leave adhesive residue after removing it.

That's funny! Well feel free to use mine for the measurements. I definitely made a too small prototype before this one haha
@@BlackFlagLeatherGoods been there before!! Do you make your prototypes out of paper first or go straight to leather?
I go straight to leather. I have this cheap veg tan hide I got at tandy when I first started that I use.
Parabéns pelo vídeo.
template does not come up, I like this one
Sorry! Give it a shot now. My website didn't post when it was scheduled to for some reason.
All my leather is from OA Leather
They're just so great to deal with!
