Imperial is this amazing university that often gets a bad rep and in the past I've worked hard to tell you guys it's not really like that, but like all universities there are a few things that Imperial could improve upon and so, here they are, from the perspective of an Imperial Medical Student (UK)!

1st-year imperial medic here: They actually increased the number of LOLs this term which is nice as it shows they respond well to feedback

I appreciate that you have taken the time to provide the feedback. It really does change things. Students have more power than they think they do but only when they talk about the areas for improvement. Not sure they can do much about a couple of these but they need to hear it. #SimTribe

Are the shops (e.g. Tesco, sainsburies) more expensive... cause London? Or are the prices the same (or nearly the same) everywhere?
Hey so I found that they're slightly more expensive than outside London but marginally (the main shops like Tesco's etc). Smaller shops will be see a bigger price difference though imo
I beg you make a video on social life at imperial with a few different viewpoints eg from different courses etc. That’d be extremely helpful! And might have to give it a big shoutout (not that it’d do a huge amount ahahah)

Do you know of anyone getting an offer from Imperial, not meeting the offer requirements but reapplying the next year with the grades they needed and getting in? ~ kinda my situation

Hey..great videos. Could you tell me if all the people who get invited for an interview,do get an offer? From the people you know or heard about
I remember it used to be that around 60% get an offer but I'm not sure what it is now

@@DoctorDevify do you know how many people are given interviews? I applied for aero this year and they really messed up the exam - it was far too difficult and time pressured is the general consensus. I got a really really bad score because I panicked massively halfway through.
I really hope this isn't the end because I know my score is in no way accurate for my ability, I suppose I'm just hoping I at least get the chance with an interview.

@@hkk5790 nah i got rejected after interview haha. it went alright i just messed up on 1Q, the admissions process in general was a bit messy. current plan is firm Cambridge.

Can't believe it cost 4,5000 for the first year of medical student when mechanical engineering students only cost 9000 for the first year!
Hey, the 45,000 is for international students not home students (which is 9250). The mech engineering for international students is also quite high at 33,750!
@@DoctorDevify oh, but my friend is an international student as well. His cost for the first year of mechanical engineering is only 9,000. Is 33,750 including accommodation fee or any other fee?
I got the info from here under overseas. It seems like it's just tuition www.imperial.ac.uk/study/ug/courses/mechanical-engineering-department/mechanical-engineering-meng/ btw when you say your friend is international, do you mean from the EU because until now they were treated as home students
