Blitz Technosystems Espresso Machine - No Steam - FIXED

This 1990 espresso machine is labeled Caffeitalianio by Eurospirit. It was given away free on Facebook because it was broken. When I received it, the pump would not accept water and the steam boiler would not heat.
Unlike many other models, there is no information on the internet about this unit. The manufacturer (Technosystems) does not maintain a web presence that I could find.

Spoiler: The pump needed to be primed by pushing water through the fill tube while dispensing hot water. I was able to unstick solenoids by repeating a push/pull cycle using a syringe, again with the machine running. Finally the steam boiler was not properly connected to the relay as a result of a previous service attempt. The relay terminals are side by side not front to back like most relays.
