The two capacitors and the coil are a part of colpitts oscillator cct.When the ball comes near or in the coil there is a change in freq of the oscillator .This change is sensed by the mother board.Thanks.

The vdo starts with the pressure switch out of the machine. It would have been better if the placement of the switch in the machine and its extraction was discussed and shown. Secondly not only does the switch fail, the water flow continues and the washing action does not start. It has not been discussed too. Hope you educate through comments, if not through vdo.
