100 Toddy Drive. I was just there last week on the 5th of September 2024. Good variety. The cabbage rolls were my favorite along with the mashed potatoes with gravy. Reasonably priced with a senior discount.
Habbersett is the best brand of pork scrapple if you want to try it. If you live anywhere within a 100 mile radius of south eastern Pennsylvania it will be in the same section of the supermarket as bacon and breakfast sausage. If you aren’t in the area, Publix carries it in the frozen breakfast section. I got several southern friends hooked on the stuff when they visited me up north and the say they can get it at Publix. Just put it in the fridge until it’s fridge temperature, cut it around 3/8” thick or so and pan fry it on one side until that side is getting crispy and then flip it and crisp the other side. When done it will be crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. I eat it plain and sometimes it mixed some with my egg yolk. Some like ketchup or pancake syrup on it, and some like to dip it in flower before frying. I was born and raised in SE PA and love Habbersett Scrapple, but the stuff they serve at places in Lancaster is usually locally made and can be hit or miss, and I don’t chance it anymore in that area after getting sick once.
Wow, looks like you know your scrapple. I’m def going to use your tips and try it out. We live in Tennessee so I’ll have to get it at Publix and fry it up crispy. Thanks for the time it took to write this up
Heck of a quality review!...I've eaten at a wide variety of buffets in my lifetime, and I can just tell that the quality of the food here is on a different level, let alone the flavor....Can't wait to try it when I make my next trip to the northeast..
It really was. Someone commented it was like a Golden Corral, but not even close. The food was not salty, you could tell it was fresh. They had the best shoe peg white corn I have ever eaten! You could tell this food was made in house. There are just sooo many things to choose from!😂
Nice video folks. I like Rich's approach meat meet Rich. I really thought Dan would attack that buffet. Wishing all of you safe & happy journeys! Cheers from Toronto.
It really was clean and appealing. They had lots of workers wiping everything down and constantly filling everything up. All of the other people there were very polite and friendly, and we had a really nice dinner.😊
We just went on a 7 day cruise last month and this far outdid the food buffet!!😂😂 it was a fun place to eat and we will go back next year and I want to get the breakfast!
Rich & Jen, so glad you went there. It's so fabulous and I'm glad you enjoyed your meal. The variety of food can't be beat. Oh those desserts, oh my. Thank you for sharing and blessings always 😊

Sooo good! My grandmother would give us a doggy bag, so we could have sandwiches the next day. Everything looked delicious! Good old fashioned cooking I grew up with.
Oh my gosh that sounds soooo good! I bought some handballs with the pineapple glaze and I’m making it Sunday for dinner with buttered noodles so my son and his wife can try them. I can’t wait. I’m gonna be sad when they’re gone though.
The shady maple has a market place, great meats, veggies, homemade bread, cakes, pies, and delicious fresh donuts. It's on the right side of the restaurant. Prices are good for good Amish foods.
A man after my heart…scrapple is great breakfast food. I was raised on scrapple, dried corn,, potato bread stuffing. Not to be picky, but the pronunciation is not Lan caster but Lanc aster. 🍤🥧🍳🍗

Wow, now that's a big buffet, one which i would love to go to, plus it's in Pennsylvania I have always wanted to go there, thanks for the video God Bless
Well, it was something to see. I can tell you that! We had always wanted to go to just because we had seen it on TV and wonder what it was really like in person! We have never been to that area in Pennsylvania and we really enjoyed ourselves a lot.
I think they meant beef brisket. Brisket for me is good as corned beef, or slow roasted, or grilled. If you've never had brisket, go to the best bbq joint near you, and check it out.
That’s what I said!! I had to try it and I fell in love with them!! It’s like a meat ball but it’s ham and beef, no Italian seasoning, and a pineapple sauce on them..oh my!!!!😎 I read it’s a mid western thing. I am from Florida (50 years) and then Tn so never had one before!
There is a menu with pricing posted at the beginning of the video, it is anywhere between 23.99 and 28.99 prior to any discount. They charge you different amounts on different nights because sometimes they have seafood or other specialties on the buffet. We had a party of four and after our discount And the 15% gratuity and taxes it was $94
Looks really good! But Rich??? Scrapple (all the stuff they don’t put in sausage is how I describe it 🤮)??? I was raised on that and loathed it! You might disagree but no way for this girl!
I’ve heard a lot about scrapple for many years. I know it’s prob worse than hot dogs(which I love). I’m on a mission and I must try it. Thanks for watching
It was sort of like golden corral, but I think the food was a lot better. Not salty and you could tell it was not just dumped out of a can that had just been opened!
Before I even watch the video, I can say NO. It isn't worth it. I've had the misfortune of having to eat here twice. Both times I was terribly disappointed.
Some people have different tastes and buffet style restaurants aren’t your bag, I get it. We really enjoy going to different locations and trying out local foods. Thanks for watching

I completely forgot about, "The Green Dragon" farmers market. It is located near Ephrata in Lancaster County. Bring plenty of bags or an extra vehicle.....lol! Better, yet, might be a good time on planning to relocate to Lancaster, County, Pa. .....lol!
Anyway, check it out in this gentleman's video : th-cam.com/video/j6V5uRa7Lx0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jFp3E4MFBUTb_S0D
$94 dollars for four with all you guys ate, was a bargain !
I thought so too!
3:42 Smoked breef bisket lmao
My Birthday is comming up .... And I'm only about an Hour and 20 Minutes away!
Road trip
@@jennifermountaingirl Yes! ....
I hear the Amish don't use much salt. I hope there's salt and pepper shakers in the dining area, and hot sauces too.
Think you’d have to ask for the hot sauce …..😎
Go to Stolfus for meat!😊
I did!! LOVED THAT PLACE!!!
What's a brief biscuit? I didn't see it.
I think they meant beef brisket. Brisket for me is good as corned beef, or slow roasted, or grilled. If you've never had brisket, go to the best bbq joint near you, and check it out.
Lol
Filling, or dressing, is stuffing not cooked in the bird.
When in Rome, no steak at an Amish restaurant, that isn’t their thing.
What the heck is a ham ball?!😅 Great video
That’s what I said!! I had to try it and I fell in love with them!! It’s like a meat ball but it’s ham and beef, no Italian seasoning, and a pineapple sauce on them..oh my!!!!😎 I read it’s a mid western thing. I am from Florida (50 years) and then Tn so never had one before!
@@jennifermountaingirl Thanks for the info😀 Keep those great videos coming!
My sisters in laws in Minnesota make ham balls for Christmas along with the great Minnesota hot dishes. Yum
Yum!!😋
Nice to see the big Buffet, not the big people , hope you all eat healthier after this adventure 😱😱🤩
Oh, we’re definitely on a diet right now after that trip!😂
❤ Amish in Lancaster!
I love Amish Country! 😎
Looks good but way too far away.😟
Wow how can anyone eat that much!!!
It’s a gift, thanks for watching
🌸👍🏻🌸
Like check put sometime
How much was it?
It was 23.99 but they have discounts for seniors and military
There is a menu with pricing posted at the beginning of the video, it is anywhere between 23.99 and 28.99 prior to any discount. They charge you different amounts on different nights because sometimes they have seafood or other specialties on the buffet. We had a party of four and after our discount And the 15% gratuity and taxes it was $94
It’s not like eating at a diner. Nothing is.
What is scrapple!
Something I want to try some day
They would make money on me, I can't eat that much. And I eat salad and fruit last.
They had a very impressive salad bar! And there was a lot of fruit so you would have been pleased!❤️
@@jennifermountaingirl Will be in the area in the fall!
Rich is eating carnivore
😂he is!
Reminds of golden corral.
It was sort of like golden corral, but I think the food was a lot better. Not salty and you could tell it was not just dumped out of a can that had just been opened!
Times Ten!!!!🤣😂
Honestly I thought it would be better. Not bad just not living up to the hype
We enjoyed it!
@jennifermountaingirl Agreed. However, I do like buffets. It's just that I found the quality of the food to be mediocre. Have a great day! 🙂
Yous are way too fake acting!
I assure you that is us, no acting, thanks for watching
Love your videos. Your in one of my favorite places
