Yes definitely, even the idea of working in Manila itself. Makati or BGC, I can't! The time is fast paced, everyone is in hurry, you can really feel the inflation with the cost there. Sa province, you still experience the luxury without hustling yourself to much plus the simpleness you can really take time.

Been living in BGC and may joke na nga kmi, whenever I go out, nakapambahay lang (“coz I live here” lol) pero ang totoo i dont really bother. You are good. Just dont mind them. 😊

It’s not surprising to me why you would gain extra attention in BGC. You’re vlogging and your outfit is a bit out of place for BGC. Plus your energy is really that of an out of towner kahit sa vlog. Pero you shouldnt take offense kasi out of towner ka naman tlga and wala naman masama dun. Halata din na you were quite overwhelmed w the experience. Try to visit again when the “amazement” or novelty wears off and perhaps you’ll get a better perception. Also, BGC is located next to impoverished areas and minsan may naliligaw so it’s common for people to automatically give off the “you’re not welcome here” vibe. It’s just a common occurrence in BGC.
The stares thing though Ced, maybe people were recognizing you but were too shy to come up.
But yes, BGC is all about image and social stature. It's horrible.
