I think the issue is that their bravery toggle was probably set to Cowardly, which is the default behavior that makes them much more likely to avoid conflict with zombies than stand and fight.
Even if did,when those npc face a storm of them they’ll all stop fighting and freak out,doesn’t matter if you change their settings. When single survivor faces more then three zombies they’ll immediately stop fighting as well. I’ve been screwing around with the mod long enough to know about it.
This should've been called "How politicians would handle a zombie apocalypse!" They'll fire a few rounds but mostly just run around like a bunch of morons shouting at everyone until they die.
@@auberginereverie It's a general observation, they made no mention of any political parties, ideology or individuals. You have a very flawed idea of what people mean by not wanting politics involved.

Yeah, should increase their bravery when playing with superb survivors as they sometimes just attracts more horde instead of thinning it the current horde you are seeing. On the other note, apparently they are immortal if you are not looking at them. Which also makes the game laggy if you are playing with high population since zomboids will just keep on fighting them on a certain spot of the map and will only die once you get a good look at them.

The NPCs were really frustrating to watch being weirdly useless and just not knowing (?) that there were zombies behind them. Maybe the jump from 100 to 500 was a bit too much, maybe if you went with 200, then it would've been more interesting. The results might've been the same, but it's over now.
@@Nebhead1986 No, but NPCs do have a toggle to determine how likely they are to run from zombies. If I had to guess based on their behavior, I'd say their bravery was probably on "Cowardly," the lowest level that is on by default.
We need NPCs so bad. Big thanks for the author of this mod even if it isnt perfect. Maybe something changes in B42 and someone can make up a good better NPC mod? Would be cool
i think they stand still like real npcs because they need to be in aggro distance also there were zombies banging on the outer walls which got too close and npcs were probably tryna get behind the wall but since they aren't programmed for that they just run in circles

Everytime I try (attempt) to use debug mode and superb survivors they are invisible and it lags a lot and I can't see my cursor, even without debug mode I still lag a decent amount and my cursor is invisible. Any help?

you gotta be in debug mode and then right click anywhere on the screen once you load into the world and near the bottom there should be a menu that says “survivor options” or something like that and in that menu there will be buttons that say “spawn soldier melee” and other options such as that

@@England_Is_My_City It's possible, but I've had cases in which NPCs won't flee at all, sometimes leading to them getting swarmed and devoured.

It seems like they're in too much panic to fight. You can tweak their courage to "rambo" or "suicidal", and they'll fight.

Were they acting like that because they were panicking? Do NPC's suffer from moodles like players do?

Looks like the npcs need to a certain distance away to switch from flee to attack and since they couldn't exit flee mode they bug out
i think they stand still like real npcs because they need to be in aggro distance also there were zombies banging on the outer walls which got too close and npcs were probably tryna get behind the wall but since they aren't programmed for that they just run in circles
