I really love the playful ambiguity you use in your use of the idiom "block out" in the lyrics. It's interesting that to "block out" means both reservation/preventing from being seen *and* as a way to map out/detail a particular way of direction. Either way it's taken (dependent also on the context) really brings out the vulnerability that intimacy finds meaning in, as the other in this song invites one to engage in an intimate act with her/him/them, an act that is both exciting and risky. And dependent on the way one approaches this song, the other could be allowing us, through this act, to see who they are *or* become a "stranger" by veiling who they are making this situation a fleeting, good time. Tl;dr: this song is amazing, the lyrics are quality, and I'm looking forward to when the LP comes out
Nice. I also see legs as the two points of direction, always in sync in vertigo, inside a little shell of their emotion and mask, crying wolf fox rain in the hole, blocking possible intimacies and allowing strange fleeting moments. Jesse's creative ability to mesh a common theme with hidden strings yet so obvious through music like a puzzle piece as one is an art and that includes erra.
