    Great to see some real competition for the more established brands that charge a premium for the brand name rather than for the features and value on offer

    I've realized that most of the SA car reviewers just don't speak about the biggest issue with these cars and it's the fuel consumption. What is the point of having an affordable car that is expensive to maintain daily?

    • @releM15
      @releM15 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because they want to push the feature rich cheap narrative. A lot of people who drive these have honest discussions in their closed circles or themselves and fuel is a huge issue

    Nice car yet they should've offerd ths with a diesel engine option. .

    • @releM15
      @releM15 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They can’t make Diesel engines they don’t know how to. Hence their petrol engines feel like experimental as they have fuel consumption issues and unknown reliability.

    Turbo charger compress more air flowing into the 1.6 engine cylinders this will lead to
    Into excessive heat in the engine
    Engine Wears Out At a Faster Rate: The faster you drive, the more stress you put on the engine. And also it may creates so much carbon. This means extra money for scheduling service . But its still is cheaper than Japanese and Korean cars and I met few people who bought the car and said the car performing well. We in middle east get 10 years warranty on engine and gear box which you can't get in any other Japanese or Korean cars.

    Great review, quick question.
    Does anyone know how to use the 3.4GB Chery Media Storage?

    I heard a few people complain about its fuel consumption. What figures did you achieve when you were reviewing it?

      I’ve had the car for just over a month now and on a trip from KZN to Soweto, i did 7.2l/100kms and got 632kms out of a single tank.

      @@sandileg.mkhulise8960 thanks for this and is it true that after the first service (5000km) the fuel Consumption gets better?

      @@ndzalamamathebula2104 I've just done the 5000kms service so I'll definitely keep track and update here.

    Is the 1.6 T DGI from her Hyundai/ Kia group.
    Because I've noticed it produces the same output with the Hyundai Kona N line

    Good review, but you failed to mention anything about the cars biggest criticism (and the biggest issue with Chinese cars in general), fuel consumption... what figures did you see in your test?
