Jaime and his family moved into a home with a pond and fell in love! So, when it was time to put on an addition to their house in Roseland, NJ, they decided a new garden pond & waterfall would be a part of the plan. Today, we are installing our Tranquility Deluxe pond package with a fish cave and aquatic planting to complete the Penaloza's backyard escape!

Atlantis Water Gardens is located at 3017 Route 10 in Denville (Morris County), NJ (New Jersey) with a full pond supply store and specializes in the design, maintenance and construction of backyard fish ponds, boulder waterfalls, fountainscapes, decorative water features, natural looking ponds, koi fish ponds and outdoor goldfish ponds for backyard landscapes.
My favorite part is the way it brings the whole family together. They all enjoy it.

Maybe a touch small in size but definitely huge in beauty. That thing is gonna look absolutely amazing when they get it landscaped. I mean, don't get me wrong. It looks amazing now, but like Wittstock likes to say, "Now it's time to put the ornaments on the Christmas tree."
Hey, I know it's off topic but I just wanted to say what a fantastic job you and the rest of the Artists of the Year did on the Shaq pond. I love, love, LOVE how you guys can come together as a unit, leave your egos at the door, and just create a work of art like that out of nothing (other than grass). I hope you know how truly unique and rare that is in the world we live in today. For lack of a better adjective, you guys are all alpha dogs, used to having a vision and making that vision a reality. To have so many alpha dogs with different style and different visions to take on a project like that and create a masterpiece, in what... 4 days? All I can say is, the rest of the country could learn something from you guys.

is it normal to have the skimmer rock above the other stones? I noticed these skimmer boxes are perhaps a bit too tall a better design would be the weir door closer to the top.
First of all, congrats to the family with the new pond.
2nd Well done job with the explanation of how to do the build up. In this video you showed signs of being nervous for the camera, but you will get over that 😉 when you get used to the camera.

There is a skimmer with debris basket and filter mat. Fish can’t get near the pump

Kinda wish bigger rocks were used. Not a big fan of a bunch of stacked small rocks. Still looks good though

Is the corrugated plastic pipe just for a place for the fish to hide, or does it serve another purpose?
Yes, it’s the structure for a fish cave
You guys build such beautiful ponds but this one is just disappointing. Not sure if its because it's so small and the rock work is very unnatural. Big boulders make the ponds look look so beautiful and natural

Do you cleanse the stone before adding the water?
We wash it down and pump it out when inside the pond
what kind of pump, bio box and skimmer that you used br? I am not in US so can I buy them on online shop of your company?
Aquascape 1000 skimmer, 2500 biofalls and Aquasurge 4000 pump.
