Great job so far. Keep up the great work. I have used Vaseline with black gray paint mixed in with it to make the grease for the fifth wheel hitch. Oh and a little goes a long way.
Nice update, she is coming along beautifully..some great detailing, liking the wheel/tire treatment, and the yellow looks fantastic, not an easy feat...great tip on the Tulip stuff, never tried it but any seam fill that you can smooth with water is a bonus, cause I hate sanding...lol....95 in the shade, huh, early May....maybe you could fry an egg plane for us in your yard, a little demonstration...LoL
Lol!! Thanks Tommy,, very much appreciated!! I know a guy the backed cookies in his car a couple summers ago. An egg plane fried on the side walk would be funny.
On the fithwheel you can use artist oil paints in the tube hunter Selby at Showtime studios used on his the oil paints take a little longer to dry but produce a realistic look to the fith wheel check out his TH-cam channel
@@THROTTLEPOWER much smaller. He splits his store between R/C stuff, games and models. But the guy is super cool and can order anything I want as long as it is current.
Everything is looking great Bryan. I like the engine the way it is. I wish I had a local mom and pop shop to support, they went the way of blockbuster video lol. Stay safe and keep having fun buddy. Papadan
For fifth wheel grease, try a little contour/fill putty ,be Tamiya or Testors, smear some onto the fifth wheel and mix a little gloss black with a touch of dark red paint, and paint it. That way you got the look without having wet grease on your model to collect dust, plus get on you every time you touch the truck.
@@BGsModelWorkshop yeah I posted that as you were explaining the tulip paint. I'm familiar with that stuff, have three way younger sisters. Never thought to use it like you described. Might have to try that. Thanks for responding. Stay healthy
Weathering looks good, don't mind the engine being a little dirtier. It's shaping up nicely. Hope the hobby stores open soon up here too, you can keep that heat tho'. lol.
Nice update. No yellow paint no problem. Just put mustard & a little future together. Not ! 95° no thanks. I just mowed my grass for the 1st time since last year. In Michigan 🏭🐭
Oh I'm not using real grease. That is Dylan over at N.Y.S. I hesitate to use real grease on plastic models. Some grease and oils can eat the paint, or worse soften the plastic.
Great update Bryan! Everything is looking super nice! Really like those wheels and tires...look killer! Stay safe!
Thank you so much Craig!
Nice update Brian looking really good thus far.
Thanks buddy!! The Beast is putting up a fight, but we are only 3 rounds into 10 round battle 😊

Hobby destination! I have been making friends with the owner. 😊

Thanks for the tip, but I'm going with the tulip. It's Actual paint. Not grease. Some other guy in the group buildnid is using real grease.

Thank you Steve! The engine does look a lot better in the frame.
Your progress looks great Bryan!!! I would think you could dry brush the engine with the engine color to tone it down. I'll be watching.
Cool idea Michael! Thanks for watching

Thanks Chris. Interesting tip.
nice job
Thank you Ray!
I wonder how real grease will look after a time gummed up with all kids for cactus power I bet, looking forward to seeing it greased up

Good choice on the slick paint should look the part never use real grease on your model it attracts all kinds of dust bunny’s
Agreed!! Thanks buddy!!
Grab ferret and dip tail in can of grease apply liberally
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
