Thank you so much for covering CastleScape, Alex! We are very excited to release more content in future expansions to give players that experience that you are seeking!
Great review. As someone who doesn't have nearly as much time to play games as I would like, Im glad it has a shorter length of play. My family is a bit unfamiliar to new board games, so the "gateway game +" difficulty level will make it that much easier to get it to the table
Great review Alex. I saw that Josh replied to you below, but I just want to add. I've been playing this game a couple of times since last summer, and was part of the final stretch and validation. I love Deckbuilding, I'm not into area control that much... But like Tyrants of the Underdark, I just had a lot of fun playing this one. You probably were on his list, but I told him, if you want to get an honest opinion, you have to get a copy to Alex. And you described the game as it is, at least, exactly like I see it too. And this game could go much further. So I wish Josh a lot of success, because I want what's next. Beside deck building, I really like the fact that you can score points in many ways, and that public objectives and contracts can change your strategy in the game. I really enjoyed my TTS games, can't wait to see that on my table! Have a great day!

Looking forward to it :)
D&D Tyrants of the Underdark had deck building and area control/majority.
I have that on the shelf, need to play it :)

Don't worry I can list all that I know for you. Deckbuilder area control
Untaunded
Tyrants of underdark
Me reading the thumbnail and not being native English speaker:
"What does scane mean?"
Lol that's fair :)
I'm going to jump the gun, because I can't watch it now. How is it for 2 players, assuming you didn't mention it🤫
Two player was his preferred way to play as it felt more tactical and the game felt a touch longer, giving you more time to refine your deck
@@josephzolinski9725 tnx for the recap 😁
