The factory behind the White House ornament

The same family-owned business has manufactured the White House Christmas ornament for more than 4 decades. The collector's item helps raise funds to preserve the White House while teaching about presidential history. Ed O'Keefe has more.

I've just discovered The Beacon Ornaments
And I wonder where I've been all this time.
My husband would have cherished these.
In searching for a tribute to him, I found the Betsy Ross flag before the 50-star.
It's extra special because he always asked-during his last few years with dementia-"did I tell you I lived in Delaware? It was the first of the original colonies to be a state of the 13 colonies....it is the First Star on the flag"
" Yes, you did."
no, he wasn't old enough.😉
Anyway, I found the Marine Corps Seal ornament, which was simply beautiful. The others were pretty, but the one I purchased suited his style, and he would have been proud to own it. This is part of his memorial corner.
Everything I've is so beautiful, and the craftsmanship is topnotch
