- SCP4158 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as Big Charlie.
SCP-4158 is a bovine-esque creature measuring 3.4 meters tall and 5 meters long at the time of writing.
SCP4158 is constantly growing in size and weight. As such, excess mass must be sheared off every week.
The meat produced by SCP-4158 is USDA Utility Grade beef and has shown no anomalous properties.
When SCP-4158 is not sheared of its excess mass new features begin to form, including limbs, genitalia, and, in rare cases, organs

Honestly in today's world of pink meat pastes treated with ammonia and animal mistreatment, I'd eat some Big Charlie. Doesn't hurt or kill it, is totally identical to beef, and judging by the fact a meat company distributed its meat, it doesn't seem to be harmful at least in the short term
Well it's Utility grade beef, you'd rather have it turned into a paste (by grinding) and then have it in your burger. Honestly Big Charlie seems like the perfect thing to bring during an apocalypse.

Honestly same, it’s probably healthier and less harmful to animals than some real world practices, and it produces decent meat. It’s more reminiscent of shearing a sheep than slaughtering an animal and it keeps other cows out of the slaughterhouse.

As far as scp's go, Big Charlie seems to be the most wholesome one. Just a "deformed cow" who's first experience was someone trying to kill them, eat them, and then have a weirdo drink your blood and worship you. Considering this poor beings life I would've expected hate or at least some aggressive behavior. But Big Charlie seems like too much of a sweet heart for that.

Possibly the opposite. It could signal that a "normal wackjob" borders on the anomalous. Honestly, the foundation's grasp on what is "anomalous" is about as arbitrary and subjective as it comes, I suspect that eventually they're going to figure out how a lot of the anomalies work, and in the process discover (to their shock) that they're really no different than any other rare but understood phenomenon.
They could possibly end up discovering, in regards to things like reality benders, that maybe science missed a few fundamental forces. Or maybe that they just missed a few ways the existing ones can interact very exotically... Basically, they discover that SCPs don't actually break any known laws at all, and simply do things within the known laws of nature that nobody knew was possible.
Much of the mundane may then demonstrate itself to be on the border of anomalous, and the anomalous more mundane than expected. Some SCPs actually suggest this is the case.
247 seems to have come about via mundane genetic mutation, it's cognitohazard potentially being a natural adaptation that regular old evolution produced. This is actually a good part of why it's so unsettling: If that's the case, there may be hundreds of others bearing the same mutation in the wild, because it would make it an excellent hunter and gratuitously increase its survival rate when it clashes with humans hunting tigers.

I wonder if they gave Big Charlie certain diets he’d produce different types of beef like feeding him some more high quality stuff and he be producing wagyu beef. Also using his flesh as a source for on the field protein rations would be a cost efficient alternative.

No, SCP-4158 is an official SCP. It was originally by Trevor Henderson, yes. But unlike Siren Head, Trevor actually allowed Big Charlie to be an actual SCP.

@@wowinpop I think they should have used the singular tense of blessings, simply because you don’t say things like “I donated a lot of bloods today”. “Blood” can be used in both singular and plural senses, so by pluralizing the word blessing, it’s more like he’s receiving individual “blessings” rather than a single constant source of blessing like with the blood.

goddamn. yesterday I dreamed I was sitting in a forest with the yule man, reminiscing about our pets, I think I dreamt that because my childhood dog recently passed away. I remember he told me he used to have a pet, his name being charlie, too. I know it sounds like I'm making this shit up but I can't believe this is happening. I imagined a normal dog when he said that but his dog actually being 4158 makes so much fucking sense. they look so similar. 4666 is like an overgrown human and this thing is like an overgrown cow, their skin is fragile, they're both so damn thin their bones are showing, their legs are way too long, 4666 isn't aggressive towards animals but loves to inflict pain on humans and 4158 isn't aggressive towards people but he likes to eat other animals. they fit each other really well. I don't know if you guys can see the resemblance but damn, they're so similar in my eyes.

Well, it needs to be literally cut down daily, so it wouldn't outgrow its containment, so we're not really in save territory here.
To the Foundation the Safe class means it can be contained by simply locking it away in a box. It won't move, it won't produce an effect by itself...it will just sit there completely inert. If it has any ability to self motivate then it is Euclid. Keter is when it is actively destructive, whether by the nature of its effect or just good old fashioned malice.
