Tried making it out of cardstock and must say this is the hardest project I have ever done! Had so much trouble getting the sides to fold. Once I got the flaps glued, at least it folds easier now. That was a challenge!!!!! Love the end result though.
Love them. When I first saw them it looked like you had a separate sheet of paper on the inside but after seeing the tutorial I now know it is made from one sheet of paper...very clever !

May i know whats the purpose of the crease in the middle? Its not folding, so is it necessary to create that crease?

The crease allows the sides of the box to fold in to bring the top together nicely ❤
You could leave it out if you prefer xxx
