Nice video- by the way I just want to say that when you're putting on the strap you don't need to push the strap release button, that's only for taking off the strap. You can literally just jam it in and it's much quicker as I've seen all other reviewers do

Hey, I have a silver/black Ultra. To be honest, it looks kinda ugly. You can change that by putting a bezel on it. I have the silver one from Ringke. I'm into bodybuilding and I thought about switching to an Apple Watch Ultra or a Garmin, but they're not that great either. Garmin is basically just a bunch of sensors strapped to a display, and the Apple Watch Ultra doesn't even have advanced sports insights. It's just got standard stuff, maybe for running, diving, and cardio.
Only kind of slight annoyance is original watch pro 5 magnetic band was slimmer and easier to get on and off where it connected at bottom of wrist. So when using a keyboard the metal clasp didn't dig in hard into your bottom of wrist.
I absolutely loved my watch 5 pro with the magnetic band. I leave everything on with full brightness so I usually just charge my watch each evening for a short period of time to get back to a full charge. Then I'm good to go to track sleeping and the whole next day! . I'm using the dark Grey marine band with watch ultra. I wasn't crazy about the trail band but I may give it another try. Lol one thing I did notice is it seemed like it took twice as long to get a full charge from about 15% than my watch five pro did. We will see how this plays out in the days to come. I love the looks and feel of the watch ultra. I really wish samsung, will it get a pool to open up the blood pressure monitor in the US. I think I made trying to sign a little bit like I did to watch five pro. works perfect. I hope everybody enjoys the watch ultra! It is an amazing beautiful device❤
It gave me a bad rash after just 2 days. Even the back of the watch. I'm returning it if I can figure out how to do that. I spent 2 hours on the website. I think Samsung makes it almost impossible to generate a return. I'm so frustrated. 😢
@paulkline3011 sorry to read about your experience, get in touch with support on the phone, I'm sure they'll figure something out. Worse case, you can always sell it. Also, maybe you're allergic to the material of the band. You could try another band?
@dennishaughton4554 it's not a conspiracy it's just such a tiny chance of you ever having to worry about it that it makes no sense to do. It's like wearing a crash helmet all day just incase you hit your head.
@@superiortoall22 If you use the health features then it's like 2 days, but I like the watch because of its bigger battery as I care less about the health features because Samsung Health features are not medically certified. Besides, if you was truly interested in your health you wouldn't use a Samsung product anyway.
I can say that the watch connected fine and everything from wearable app to connectivity between phone and watch was working without issues. However I haven't used the watch with the Xperia. Hope this helps.
the quantified scientist just reviewed the watch. Did not get good reviews. Pretty much didn't improve on anything except hear rate and only then on outdoor bicycling. Paying for the Ultra name and only get Samsung's crap sleep tracking and everything else. What a disappointment.
I saw that review, and that guy does a terrific job comparing the watch with other tracking devices. To stay on the bright side, I'm hoping that the shortcomings of the ultra are more software than hardware, plus the sleep tracking is FDA approved, so I'm hoping it can't be that bad after all or is this just wishful thinking on my end 😅. I definitely agree that when looking at the results from the other reviewer it doesn't paint a good picture for the watch from the health tracking perspective, let's see how it goes. Peace.
Yes and especially if you already have a great watch like yours, it makes sense to hold on until there's more clarity on the topic. For those that don't have any smartwatch, i guess it's a little more nuanced, depending on what your expectations are.

@alanclague8186 I did the same. It's on par with 5 pro. So for me, speed,gps and brightness increase is enough. Plus I hate 5 pro raised curves, it collects dust and I had to clean it regularly.
Depends how you edit the video, pretty much unboxed as I went along. Otherwise i wouldn't have struggled with the band as i did 😂. Thanks for your comment.

from your usage what is the battery life really like? does it last 4 days?

If you don't use the health features you can get 5 days of battery life out of it easily If you're on Bluetooth.
