In my opinion, the opposite would be true. Like imagine that you’re growing up, that reality you used to know and love, what you used to believe and perceive as real, slowly turning into toys because you’re starting to understand, to see, to know the line between imagination and reality. Just my opinion though, I don’t know what I’m yapping about tbh. Now that I’ve watched the video again, I think the point of the toys turning into real objects might be us, the viewer, becoming more and more convinced of her being real. I don’t know, I need Amy to confirm or something.
The vibe of this video is so bittersweet, comforting and nostalgic. The emotions this character portrayed felt so real. Sadness her friend is growing up and that they are forgetting all the memories they made together but also the fear and worry that she is not making the friend happy anymore, that the friend is forgetting. That her very existence hinges on this friend believing. Wanting to please the friend and interact with them out of love but also survival. That possibly she was such a huge part of the friends life when they were small and realizing thats not really the case anymore. Wanting to keep it light to not have those hard conversations, transitions and realizations that are truly inevitable as you grow older and your world and priorities shift. I hope this character will come back
I agree this was so thought out like the happiness spray there being barely any spray left even if it was unintentional it was very symbolic to me 17:49
This gives the vibes of a child who is growing up and losing their ability to see their imaginary friend. I know that’s the point but it’s executed so well.

Can’t wait for the sequel: “ASMR Imaginary Friend Comes to Terms with You Growing Up”. She realizes you have new responsibilities and passions and that she could be holding you back. The finale of the series would be “ASMR Imaginary Friend Will Always Care About You”. Our friend prepares to disappear, maybe has one more tea party to say goodbye, but in showing us love and support we vow to always hold on to the childhood love and memories she gave us. So she’ll live on with us and maybe help us when we need to feel childhood joy again.
