Pai river looks beautiful in cool season. In dry season March April May, the water is very shallow, only waist deep and tubing along this river is popular with expats. Hundreds enjoy drifting along the river sitting on rubber tubes while drinking beer. BTW, Ban Ja Bo's view is spectacular. This site is famous for eating noodles while enjoying mountain view. If you ever have a chance to bike to Chiang Tung from Mae Sai (Chiang Rai) border, it is a major city in Shan province about 170 km from the border, you will see the city's center with such a lake like the one in Mae Hong Son. In the late evening, people would have a picnic there and there are several food vendors along the lake bank.
There is a lot of will power. Even though it's difficult, we still fight so that we can see the nature of the villagers' way of life. Even if you can use normal roads it will be easier. I watched it and really liked it. I smiled along with it. Thank you for traveling to Thailand.
You’re absolutely awesome! Taking on the Mae Hong Son Loop by bicycle like this feels like the next level adventure. It’s such an incredible journey, and I can only imagine the amazing experiences you’ll have along the way. Cheers, mate! I hope you have fun and have a safe trip ahead.
@universaltraveller2 Phu Thap Boek is the highest peak in Phetchabun Province, approximately 1,768 meters above sea level[1]. It is located in Wang Ban Subdistrict, approximately 40 kilometers from Lom Sak District and Lom Kao District. The weather is cool all year round. This season there will be a sea of Mist. Phetchabun province has many beautiful places, most of which are hills. I hope you like it. However, this is Thailand, so please ride your bike with caution.💪👍🚵♀️
Very impressive effort climbing up Doi Inthanon with your heavy loaded bike, Tim. Love your blog. Be safe out there! PS.: Just out of interest, what did you take with you making the bike weigh 35kg? 🤣 And what's your gear set up?
Wonderful ❤ Enjoy all your trips. I would have thought it would be much better if you had your buddy, taking turns in making a video. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2005.
On the roads of Thailand, there is nothing to be afraid of. The roads are good, the nature is beautiful, the only danger is drunk drivers, which we cannot control.
Hi Tim, that was one hell of the ride on Mae Hong Son loop. After Pai, you basically climbed 1300-2600m on everyride (through your Strava data) without even a rest day. You are a very strong rider. BTW, we have met at Pai, I m Malaysian cyclist, you came say hi to me when I was about to check in my accommodation, I m the one who packed my luggage on bike with just one trunk bag at the rear, no panniers. Cheers 😊
Just imagine how proud it would be to be the last cyclist to reach the highest point in Thailand.😊
Your trip video will be a memorable history.🎉🎉🎉
Your video is amazing! It gives a great sense of the natural atmosphere and showcases the beautiful scenery.

Chiang Tung looks really nice!! Hopefully I'll get the chance to go there one day :) Next, I think I'll cycle to Chiang Rai and then through Lao :)
Love your contents and the personalities that you put into videos and enjoy your particular individual perspectives while cycling through the journey.

Biking is the best way to enjoy the world that's my opinion.
