Great video, thanks for all of ur efforts for us❤ Im not life skilling for long time and have information maybe as half as Summer. Yet heres my recommendation: Go with cooking. I also suggest to gather meat by hunting and not gathering except like valencia meals that you should gather lion meat. By the time you're cooking go for magical seeds in your farm. Cyclinf your magical seeds shouls give u decent amount of cooking material and preparing your alchemy journey by getting fruits. Alchemy is probably the most profitablr thing in game but not in silver/h. You must invest soooooo much more time than anything else. So step by step, connect ur alchemy nodes, get fruits, i always have a preorder on fruits aswell. Since even the bottlenecks materials that youve been gathering for hours can melt in 10 minutes, spend a day or two to craft alchemy thingys. My routine is like once a month i craft elixirs thats estimately worth over 20b which is not that great yet a very good side income. These are my thoughts and recommedations. Of course you can follow your path to play. Have a nice one.
Very good Video! I really hope they buff cooking and alchemy Imperial Delivery soon and adjust the max. Quantity of Boxes we can hand in. For alchemy in particiular i hope they find a way to let us (in a lifeskilling way) get Fruits and Traces more regually, for maybe a higher Cost of Energy or sth. around that line... Keep up the good Content, and keep on uploading as frequent as you do atm, cant wait to see more Videos! =D
1 minute in, i see him use heavy duty packing cord, and I had no clue what that is, im at Master 21 cooking and master 5 alchemy. in the end, i learned something. thanks for that
Would be cool if they added some type of manos utensil that had "unlimited" max durability, and recharged by using advanced/supreme tools. Also wishing for the manos cooking clothes to get the -cook time like manos alchemy has, and alchemy to get the multi craft procs like cooking has. 😅
One thing that's great about cooking for new players is that you don't need a lot of mastery gear at all (unless you do market cooking). If you powerlevel to professional cooking and buy pickled vegetables off the market for imperials, you'd end up making more money because of how long it takes for mastery gear to pay for itself. If you take a professional cook with 500 mastery and 350 CP who buys their meals and turns in each day for 1 year they'd make about 16b silver profit after paying for their gear. Compare this to a mid game guru cook with 1500 mastery and 400 CP who buys their meals and turns in each day for 1 year they'd still need about 5b worth of imperials before they would have paid off their gear. So yes mastery is great for cooking but you don't really need to invest in mastery gear and crystals if you're someone who's more casual or just want to focus your time in some other activity where having good mastery gear isn't needed.
Whats more ideal, an alt for every lifeskill you wanne do? Or combine certain lifeskills on alts? I have plenty slots (capped) just dont know if i should expand on alts or combine lifeskills.
People usually bunch together lifeskills on one character that require weight and where you can generate and use energy, like cooking, alchemy, processing, gathering, hunting etc . Lifeskills you'd want an alt for are farming, fishing and bartering.
Nice comparison, sucks these life-skills are in such a bad state and hopefully PA buffs/reworks them soon for anyone under 2k mastery - a weeks worth of Guru boxes or just grind for an hour instead..

great video again! Another winner
Good video as always, keep up the good work
very useful video, as always!
Love your videos on cooking!
Do you enjoy losing silver and putting in 100x the effort but need perfumes for pvp? Alchemy is for you!
Yeah that's a common sentiment. Hope I can add a bit more nuance to the discussion with this video.

What alchemy tool are u using with 3k charges?
I am used to produce the ones with 900 charges, using Workshop lvl 5.
I'm using the Morning Light Traditional Alchemy Tool. You can produce them in a workshop in the new region.

Follow your heart!

Wanna make money ? Go cooking
You wanna get rid of your money and your time ? Go Alchemy
XD
thanx for the video and I loved your MILF style character :P
👀
Alchemy is poverty route…
I think there's good money to be had, especially since cooking is becoming more and more mastery dependent
Alchemy needs help.
