Went to a popular US supermarket and was shocked to see many items available at super high prices. Of course, US citizens earn in dollars and we earn in rupees, but still the prices were shocking.
I also noticed so many Indian spices being called "superfoods", and Americans spending thousands of rupees for them, which you get in India for barely 50-100 rupees.
The world is realizing the power of Indian food, now it is our turn to realize it.

was at cafeteria yesterday, literally my view on food has changed, everything was maida or dalda or sugar.. finally decided to have sweet corn and then there was some oil that looked like ghee, i told the shopkeeper to not add any oil and give me plain with masala 🌾🌾🌾🌷🌲
I've been consuming turmeric milk since I was 11. Now i am 26 and trust me I've never been to doctor ever since. Not only turmeric milk. Ashwagandha, Tulsi, mulethi, safed peetha mix veg and fruit juice mere diet ka part rhe hai pta nhi kabse. Chips and biscuits khaaye toh mhine nikal gye.

Bhai in chijo ko exchange rate se nahi PPP rate se compare karte h abhi DOLLAR TO INR PPP rate ₹21 (lagbhag) aur is hisab se $15 ke pomegranate ki price lagbhag 245 ke aas pass hongi bharat me anar lagbhag ₹100 per kg hai chilko ke sath agar sirf seeds ke weight se compare kare to US ke log jyada fayde me hai kyonki unke yaha ke product top quality ke hote. Aese hi sabhi products ko compare kar sakte ho.

But you went to wholefoods which is not your typical grocery store , I mean they are notorious to hike prices for their "Organically Produced " veggies and fruits . U can try Local farmers market for fruits and stuff and Indian gen stores to get spices at sensible prices .
