No, console mods are crap right now. But if you don't have a PC, it's better than nothing. We have to use actual people to log into the server, and physically be a trader. Otherwise you gotta use Discord to do purchases. But the purchases using Discord will only show up in a spot you have sat still at for 10 minutes, the discord will register your location at that point, then you have to wait for a server restart. Then your items will be where you sat for 10 minutes once you log in from the restart. It's such a dumb process that is a huge hassle compared to having an NPC or a vending machine to have purchases instantly show up, and physical currency.

This is only mostly true for the average servers. There are plenty of console servers that have walk up bots to trade. You still have to link your GT to the discord but it's auto after. It's just most console DayZ servers are too lazy. They're more about modding in useless spots to lag the server. Yes PC is and until like Arma reforger will always be better than console because of the modding community. But if you're an official player, DayZ on a new gen Xbox, m&k, 240hz monitor and fiber wire it runs GREAT. This is coming from a PC dayz player. All of you complaining are the same folks using old gen Xbox's to white wall and see thru buildings complaining about m&k players lol hence the servers Eight by receedingman and karma krew servers, controller only lol y'all ruined the few good servers on console because you're scared of m&k? Lmao wtf ever man
For me the only downside to a p.c making the leap from console, is a controller.. can you use one instead of mouse and keyboard ? And if not someone needs to get on that shxt and capitalise off it haha

No Mic No Life.. as a new DayZ player last year may 2023 when I first started playing DayZ I found out the hard way when I didn't have a mic for a time being and before I got my son to show me how to use the mic as I'm on Xbox ( his Xbox) when he went to PC.. I got killed a lot.. now I stand by the NO MIC NO LIFE RULE ALSO.. I'm gonna follow Emnix

@@reallystraightguy2716 I can get that, I didn't have to pay anything to play it as the Xbox is my son's and he had already bought the game for himself to play, he then saved up the money to have a gaming PC built for himself which cost him around $700+.. (his best friend knew a guy so he got a good deal) well once he got his PC set up in his bedroom I decided to give DayZ a try (had to have my son show me the controllers).. I definitely would love to switch to PC to play DayZ however I Don't have that kind of $ to do so plus I don't have the room to put it as we live in a small 2 bedroom house . My son has his setup in his bedroom..

honestly concol is fun as hell without mods. people underestimate it alot. my videos explains how good it is and I only play official. never duped never used exploits. just grind for gear and pvp for the gear. the mods on pc are cool just feels like it takes away from what dayz is sometimes. helicopters or motorcycles would be nice for consoles. and more weapons
Can anyone give me some advice, just got myself a pc and I want to get Dayz. I have an AMD Radeon HD 7800 series graphics card and wondering if that is sufficient for running dayz smoothly. I read somewhere that the AMD has given some problems when running dayz. Will appreciate the advice.
No problems mate...I run dayz on ultra with a i9 and a 3060 so you'll manage no bother ..don't believe all you read mate..just turn off and equivalent to vsync
