What an amazing version and heartfelt tribute to Pepper's dad. Just beautiful.
From one C.O.C. fan to another, this is beautiful.
Ryan's covers can be hit or miss. This was a bullseye.
Ryan always does killer fuckin covers , haters just can’t think outside the box
As an OG COC fan, I can't stop listening to this. Beautiful
Never heard a song that is heavy and then for it to be done like this is magic at its best. Wonderfully in every way. 🙂
The lyrics hit different, my god what a beautiful rendition!
Please get this on the streaming services ASAP. Absolutely incredible
Beautiful, beautiful song Ryan amazing
This is what I'm talking about! The way he does surgery on this song is mesmerizing, haunting and some of the best artistry I've heard in a while. I love, love it and just what I needed. Thank you Ryan
6 hrs in and it’s been listened to 2300 times. 2258 were me. Such a nice tribute to Pepper’s dad.
WOW!!! Excellent cover.
Hauntingly beautiful
Thanks Ryan what a gift you have great song cover! Come back to oz soon
Amazing cover
As a C.o.C fan myself,Thank u
Good Lord Ryan Adams, what a rendition! This is sooooo gooooooddddd!
So gorgeous.
Totally digging this. Love out of left field stuff like this.
This is so cool and beautiful
A very beautiful tribute.
AWESOME DUDE!
I love this acustic take on the song the lyrics still as powerful great cover
Actually….i want to buy this on physical media. You make it, I’ll buy it. Hell, I’ll buy three of ‘em.
Great work mang. Really hit me.
Never had heard of this artist but it’s a moving rendition of a classic song. COC lifer here. From all the way back in the beginning when they were punk/hardcore.
Ryan Adams is a treasure...a prolific writer who has put out more albums than I can count. Welcome to the rabbit hole of an amazing artist. Check out his stuff when he was with a band called The Cardinals. Don Was is a close friend and both produces and plays with him a good bit. Listen to the killer delay in this mix. Don very well could be touring with him on this solo tour and doing his sound.
For me, the best songwriter of the last 20+years. Anything live is always spectacular. Try the Carnegie Hall recordings, and Love Is Hell.

Don’t forget the three excellent albums he did in the 90s with his band Whiskeytown. Stangers Almanac is my favorite 90s album, and in my opinion there was an abundance of great music in the 90s
Beautiful rendition of a classic tune! Great job!
Always loved this song what a dope rendition !
Verb king!! ✌🏻❤️
Gorgeous
Beautiful tribute. Great voice...
Brilliant!!
Nice song!! 👌
I really love it.
Ohhhhh this is amazing!!!
right on, i liked it
Well done
This motivates my soul
Bloke could sing the phone book & make sound amazing & his own. Nice one mate✌️❤️✊
#9,193 views is me. posted 18 hours ago, yet strange how i found my way here. anyway, C.O.C. lifer from Brewery days. this rendition is done beautifully, and so cool that you dedicated it to Mr. Keenan !! so sad to learn of his passing, as i've been avoiding social media/society myself lately because of my own dad's passing in May.
As if the original wasn't emotional enough...this takes it to a whole new level.
Just beautiful.A of ,Ryan Adams songs are like that ,vety spiritual and heartbreakingly beautiful .A gifted talented artist, i love his mudic and i always will ,as it goes right to my soul 💞💐🌸🌷♥️🌺💝💕💖💖💖💖🧬🌹🐕🦺
The way you are feeling hearing this now is how we 90s metal heads felt when we heard this back then but with a bit more pain and fury.
What a gem of a cover.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Thank you!
Brilliance ❤
I was very surprised by Ryan's choice of harmonica key. This is excellent
LOVE
Interesting version. I dig it. Definite Neil Young vibe.
Any plans for a vinyl release of all the covers? That would be awesome. Thanks 🙂
👏🔥🤘
Ryan did it as a tribute to Pepper’s Dad so you haters can move on.
Ok but his career took a huge hit almost ended it the way he treated phoebe bridgers and his ex wife mandy moore.
@@CraigMahaneyHe has treated people like that from the beginning and everybody knew it. He’s a jerk. Quit acting like it’s news and move on if you can’t do the ol’ artist/art separation bit.
@mikewifak well ok but it basically ended his career so that's news.
It still suck tho... Pepper was nice to him, but as a lifer, this ain't hitting at all.
what's his connection to peppers dad?
a paz de JAH!
Harmonica breaks this 💔
The original packs a better punch and has resonated with me ever since I heard it back in 1994.
what's Ryan's connection to peppers dad?
Things like this make me believe that there might a God.
Who got you hooked on Lasagna?
Weak sauce... Such a great song dragged thru the blaze boring mud of today's lazy generation. BORING BORING BORING.
Ryan was born in 1974, not 2004..
@@grandudetonesnob7107 His music doesn't sound like it.
Nope. Could have lived my whole life without hearing this version and been better off for it. Sounds like every schmoe at open mic.
Bleeding soul becomes a BITTER MIND 😢
Let's hear you do better than champ
@MichealAngst I'm,m with you honey ,tell him .
You are so right.Gpd bless you always.💞💐🌸🌷♥️🌺💝💕💖💖💖💖🧬🌹
Bro... I'm right there with you, this is weak AF!
I want to go where you go to open mics, I've never heard open mics that rearrange classic songs as well as this.
I like Ryan Adams, I live COC and this is one of my favorite all time songs. This was unnecessary.
