I love how this works as a sort of strength progression for X. Sure in the other games you can head canon it that X doesn't need the armor to win a fight but having him actually fight against someone using it and winning despite how immense its power is shows just how far he's come in his experiences throughout the years.
Just when i thought seeing Strike with the Ultimate Armor would be awesome, the Dr. Wily's symbol appears in the background. This game gets better every moment.

@Nightshade Out of all the fangames I've seen being worked on, this one has had very consistent progress. If you think about it the guy is making a whole game by himself, one that is much bigger than most x titles beforehand, games that whole teams worked on, so it makes sense it's taking a long time. It's not an endless cycle, just a long development.
I didn't even know what I was about to watch, and that was fucking dope. Though I'd expected more Nova (Ultimate?) Strikes on the enemy's moveset, it was like the weakest part of it even though most people just spam it in the real games lol
@@robodroid00 Well yeah, it's not much fun fighting against a boss that spams invulnerability. Although if it's tweaked to be vulnerable to attacks after getting hit by weakness or something, Nova strike spam might be a balanced AI for S difficulty....
@@benedict6962 huh? Most bosses that have been showcased have invulerability on their attacks. That can easily be fixed by making the attack move faster if it's meant to be invulnerable while flying, that way is more similar to the Nova Strike we all know
In case if anyone's wondering, these are all the difficulty selections: *C Class:* Easy Mode: All enemies deal less damage and have less health that normal. *B Class:* Normal Mode: The game is balanced around this difficulty to be enjoyable with some challenge. *A Class:* Hard Mode: More enemies and more difficult enemy placement, and bosses have more health. *S Class:* Super Hard Mode, unlocked by beating the game: Same as A Class, and enemies have additional attacks and AI. *Σ Class:* Maverick Mode, unlocked by beating the game on S Class: Same as S Class, and all Final Four effects and events are in effect from the beginning of the game.

@@SaviourV 4 difficulty modes and a setting that can be used on any of them, IIRC: B, A, S, and Sigma; FF mode is a setting that's available for all difficulties that treats the game's difficulty as if all stages have the final four difficulty boost on them
You know what's crazy? He legitimately looks like a badass boss fight. He's challenging, fast-paced, and doesn't feel cheap with his attacks. Amazing job, keep up the great work!
This takes me back to a time before I could beat MM bosses without breaking a sweat, back when I'd sit on the carpet to play, get frustrated, and try '...just one more time'. That "GOTCHA!' moment when you finally win, that satisfaction when triumphant...that really sums up the feeling I know I'd have after every boss if I were to play this.
I'd prefer it doesn't,like the fact that he works slowly means he can have multiple ideas that he can put in the game at any time but if they funded the project,he'd have to get the game out as quickly as possible so if they did,maybe the game wouldn't be as good as it is now
One small detail I'd like to point out with this boss stealing and using the ultimate armor is this : all of x's armors don't make him stronger. They simply draw out the power of the unlimitted potential that is within x. That is, the abilities that x uses when wearing different armors are powers that are already within him

Now I'm wondering what Strike's backstory is gonna be. I've seen him a few times in past videos but his existence is still very ambiguous and it's already bugging the crap out of me. From what I can gather by his design and attacks, he looks like a nega-version of X, and just may be the original owner of the Ultimate Armor, seeing as how he utilizes all of the Ultimate Armor's techniques during this fight. Not to mention that he looks pretty much uncanny to X's Ultimate Armor in X6. I would say he's probably the X-variant of Quint or something, but I think that spot already went to GBD. Who knows, but I hope to find out more about Strike soon
A little bit that i know: -Strike steals the ultimate armor in X's intro stage (in a flying ship above the seas) -Strike takes the entire game (since that fight apparently occurs in the castle) to crack the armor's defense -The armor is named "Corrupt Ultimate" and it IS a variant to the corrupt armor -Once you use the armor in-game, you cannot take the armor out. That's all knowledge i have from streams i watched
"Difficulty - B Class" Image after deplete his hp bar, the armor broke then the hp bar refilled, u have to fight his normal form I think the boss dead explosion animation need those classic X4,5,6 yellow line effect for better visual. I swear this game will worth more than the money I paid for Megaman11
Man I remember like, a lifetime ago when this game was early stages on the X9 forums and you were quite vocal about how much you hated Dynamo (rightfully so, imo). Well, if your goal with Strike was "what Dynamo should have been" it's looking like you succeeded, this looks amazing.
It may not be canon to the game's story😂😂, but unarmored X taking down Ultimate Strike is so thematically resonant. X1 X wouldn't have stood a chance, but by the time of Corrupted's era, X has fought many battles over the course of decades, and not even Light's most powerful armor could make up for that experience. "If you're nothing without the suit, you shouldn't have it."
I love how Strike is more of a serious threat than Mega Man X4 Double. Strikes attacks look incredible! Can’t wait to see how Sigma will look in this game.
Any chance of the game having "player defeated" animations for the bosses? I feel like Strike's the kind of guy who would be laughing maniacally as X explodes at 1:18, not just continuing to jump around and shoot at nothing.

i know that Strike has already been complete but i have a few attack for him just to "Strike" thing up hehe: 1)Make it so his Nova Strike can go diagional or from above 2)make him use the diagional hover to shoot at you 3)for his desperate attack make him hover in place then charge the buster to fire a giant laser then if you duck before he shoot then he will teleport right above you and surprise the player
I have nothing but respect for what you're making. Even if this never comes out, just from the amount I've seen, you've put love and effort into this game. You deserve more respect for this than the creators of X7 ever should get. Keep at it, and know you've definitely got supporters, so if it came down to needing a kickstarter, I'd back that in a split second.

@@jessegabriel6064 Verdade Jesse. Ainda falta cerca de 40% do jogo. Há algumas fases e bosses que precisam ser finalizados. Além do mais o JKB ainda não iniciou a parte do projeto com o Sigma e em qual contexto ele vai se situar neste enredo do Corrupted. Ele faz boa parte do trabalho pautado em corrigir bugs e aperfeiçoar skills para ter uma jogabilidade limpa. Só nos resta aguardar hehe.

So at some point relatively early in the game (based on new gameplay) Strike repeatedly attacks the hunters. First brings down the Pleiades (I play Elite Dangerous), than sabbotoges the ride armour warehouse/ steals designs. Than comes back again to steal the UA. I'm sure there's more but damn this dude is exceptionally persistant at pissing X off. I love it!

This actually confirms that the Ultimate Armor's true power can only be brought out by X canonically. Anyone else can only bring it to half power at best.

De acordo com a Wiki, o X encontra ele, usando a Ultimate Armor, na intro stage. Ele perde a armadura e só recupera ela depois de o destruir(suponho que na batalha do vídeo). Uma vez recuperada, a Ultimate Armor está diferente.
Thanks for working so hard on it and sharing. It does make me a little sad to think that a game that was my first true video game, we may never play it. Since it does not seem to have any release date of demo test yet. But I still respect and thank you for all this work.

X has to get figth to his armors to regain them. That sound actually fun.
If you do change some of the dialogue, I'd say leave X's line in, it fits his character to have some mild demand in his tone.

MegaMetalManX This May seem irrelevant to your point but, Strike looks like a combination of Agile (X2) and Double (X4)
He looks quite alot like X-Kai, who showed up in some collectable things, and is supposedly a prototype made by Wily or something.

Well, he has a big W symbol playing in the background, so, while I don't know much, I can't help but think that's a hint.
A little bit that i know:
-Strike steals the ultimate armor in X's intro stage (in a flying ship above the seas)
-Strike takes the entire game (since that fight apparently occurs in the castle) to crack the armor's defense
-The armor is named "Corrupt Ultimate" and it IS a variant to the corrupt armor
-Once you use the armor in-game, you cannot take the armor out.
That's all knowledge i have from streams i watched

Man I remember like, a lifetime ago when this game was early stages on the X9 forums and you were quite vocal about how much you hated Dynamo (rightfully so, imo). Well, if your goal with Strike was "what Dynamo should have been" it's looking like you succeeded, this looks amazing.

It may not be canon to the game's story😂😂, but unarmored X taking down Ultimate Strike is so thematically resonant. X1 X wouldn't have stood a chance, but by the time of Corrupted's era, X has fought many battles over the course of decades, and not even Light's most powerful armor could make up for that experience. "If you're nothing without the suit, you shouldn't have it."
I love how Strike is more of a serious threat than Mega Man X4 Double. Strikes attacks look incredible! Can’t wait to see how Sigma will look in this game.

Any chance of the game having "player defeated" animations for the bosses? I feel like Strike's the kind of guy who would be laughing maniacally as X explodes at 1:18, not just continuing to jump around and shoot at nothing.

If anyone is wondering how that would look like, check the remake of X1 "Maverick Hunter X" for the PSP, in that remake bosses do that.

i know that Strike has already been complete but i have a few attack for him just to "Strike" thing up hehe:
1)Make it so his Nova Strike can go diagional or from above
2)make him use the diagional hover to shoot at you
3)for his desperate attack make him hover in place then charge the buster to fire a giant laser then if you duck before he shoot then he will teleport right above you and surprise the player

I have nothing but respect for what you're making. Even if this never comes out, just from the amount I've seen, you've put love and effort into this game. You deserve more respect for this than the creators of X7 ever should get. Keep at it, and know you've definitely got supporters, so if it came down to needing a kickstarter, I'd back that in a split second.
Como eu imaginei. O Striker está quase pronto. JBK Games, deixa a trilha sonora dessa fase que antecede o confronto com ele a Gloomy Light Swamp. Combina demais com a perspectiva de uma parte do jogo após o confronto com os bosses primários.

@@jessegabriel6064 Verdade Jesse. Ainda falta cerca de 40% do jogo. Há algumas fases e bosses que precisam ser finalizados. Além do mais o JKB ainda não iniciou a parte do projeto com o Sigma e em qual contexto ele vai se situar neste enredo do Corrupted. Ele faz boa parte do trabalho pautado em corrigir bugs e aperfeiçoar skills para ter uma jogabilidade limpa. Só nos resta aguardar hehe.

@@jessegabriel6064 E o bom Jesse é que vai ter um sistema inteligente de níveis de dificuldade, coisa que não havia em nenhuma versão de mega man do Nintendo. Agora infelizmente para termos a release do jogo vai demorar pelo menos uns 2 anos ainda rs.

Oh boy...
So at some point relatively early in the game (based on new gameplay) Strike repeatedly attacks the hunters. First brings down the Pleiades (I play Elite Dangerous), than sabbotoges the ride armour warehouse/ steals designs. Than comes back again to steal the UA. I'm sure there's more but damn this dude is exceptionally persistant at pissing X off. I love it!

X: that isnt the point. The armor was only built for one robot, and you're not that robot.
Strike: Well then, if you say so, I'll give it to you...When You're Dead! Prepare to be defeated for Real This time, X!

This actually confirms that the Ultimate Armor's true power can only be brought out by X canonically. Anyone else can only bring it to half power at best.

a battle that was only in my dreams became true! And i mean it due to the difficulty. It is not the hardeds battle of all times, but the moves and techniques gives the sensation that the opponent can see throuh your moves, anticipates, and is willing to use it's full potential to smash you to trash

De acordo com a Wiki, o X encontra ele, usando a Ultimate Armor, na intro stage. Ele perde a armadura e só recupera ela depois de o destruir(suponho que na batalha do vídeo). Uma vez recuperada, a Ultimate Armor está diferente.
Thanks for working so hard on it and sharing. It does make me a little sad to think that a game that was my first true video game, we may never play it. Since it does not seem to have any release date of demo test yet. But I still respect and thank you for all this work.
