No bbq guys are cringing at this video. Awesome job dude. You make me want to buy a ranger. That damn kitchen in the truck is nicer than my house! Keep the videos coming 👍🏼
OH-MY-GOD I love this guy. I love the use of the blower also lol:) Great personality. Also, this is the best real world review of this grill I have found, Great work and thank-you for sharing!
You two rock! My wife and I started the video hoping to learn about the Traeger, but were mesmerized by your joy and enthusiasm. A Traeger is in my future.
That was a awesome video I’m a 25 year veteran of our driver off the road now but will be buying this for the beach thanks for the awesome video and wow u guys can cook
This IS the most in depth video for the Trager Ranger. Iv watch nearly every video of this cooker and have always decided to not buy one. This has made me decide to by one just because EVERYTHING is shown on how to use these and set them up. Well done mate
Something you might want to do. I learned on my treager to wrap the outside of grease bucket with aluminum foil then pull it off of outside and use it for liner inside. You won't have to haul a greasy bucket around.
I’ve been using a pellet grill for a couple years now. I think you did fine on the tri-tip. Looked delicious. I can see a new series coming. The Crafty Griller😊. Been a subscriber for about 8 months now. Love the videos.
I'm from the UK and only just found out about the Traeger Ranger grill and oh my god, what a wonderful invention!!!! That meat looks delicious too, thanks so much for great informative video, your passion for BBQ is infectious mate, keep up the great work!!!!!
Excellent explanation of how to use the Traeger Ranger..I had never heard of this before..Good to know..Steak looked delicious..Making me very hungry..Lol..Thank you for the video..Stay safe..Have a blessed day..
Great review! As long as you like the food your cooking who cares how you "should" be grilling, looked great to me! Thank you for your service as a trucker and great videos.
I rarely comment on any video I watch and I really felt I needed to thank you for this video. I have been shopping for a table top smoker for the last year for myself, even though I bought my husband one a full size one for christmas last year. I wanted one for myself to use for smaller size meals or to put in camper. I ordered this exact one this morning and wasn't sure about it. you really gave the " how to use" and how big it was and it could be do-able for me who has never smoked anything in my life . thank you so much for this video. ps. I've never seen anybody on any other video's show that little button in the middle to check meat temp of the probe. never even thought of it until you pointed it out. I would have thought it was broken or user error hahaha
Great video. I learned something watching a vide about a hybrid offset pellet smoker that helps. I tried it today with my vertical pellet smoker. If you take a handful or two of pellets and add them straight in the burn cup to cover the lighter probe it will start quicker and not have to prime as long.
I think you did a great job! I just found your channel and I subbed - but realized you’re no longer filming 😢. We aren’t truckers, but we’re RV’ers and fellow grill/smokers so thank you for your content!

Wow I was looking at pellet grills yesterday... Thanks for sharing today.... I have to get one for sure... Your babies really love the new grill...lol Take care and be safe
@@TheCraftyTrucker Calling me sir is like calling an outhouse a mansion LOL.... However, thanks Jason for your reply. You are welcome to call me Pete or really whatever you want,, I don't offend easy. I'm sure Heather enjoys you doing some cooking and the steak did look delicious. You both make a great team regardless what you are doing. I certainly gave you a thumbs up on your video, and wish you good luck with your grilling skills as practice makes perfect, but I have no remarks towards your cooking, other than I think it was a great idea to get that grill and you seem to use it well. Life can be short, so the money you spent on it is not very important as both you guys work hard and deserve treats and toys yourselves and, in this case you both benefit from it. Wow, what an awesome video. You are such a humble human being. Thank you for keeping it real. I have been cooking on a traeger for almost 20 years and you are exactly right, anybody can be a grill master with a traeger. I am picking up a ranger this weekend for our camper van.God bless you and your puppies!
Thank you so much for this video, I found out about this grill from this video and purchased for our rv, we have been using ours for a coulple weeks now and it's the best set it an forget it grill for the rv. It's like having our silverton with us on the road. I did sirloin cap roast last night, cooked for 6hrs and almost no work to monitor so I wanted to come back and tell you how much we love it and say thank you. Stay safe
I have the full size traeger and I love it. If yours cooks as good as mine you'll love it. I'm not anywhere near a cooking superstar but the traeger definitely helps. Set it and almost forget it. Thanks for the videos. Oh yeah I almost forgot, momma crafty, my wife has been cooking some of your recipes and we really enjoyed them. Thanks for that. Especially the one with the cheese, egg and almond flour. It's our replacement for bread and taco shells. 👍
Excellent and informative video! Tri-tips can be a pain because of the sizes, but oh so good! You can't beat them for the left overs sandwiches or street tacos! Thanks for sharing.......:)
Hi Ms. Heather and Jason, I know I said I am in the process of lease purchasing my own truck and lease it on with a company with my dad, but after watching another informational video, I might just hold off and come run with you two for a while!! Lol. Ttyl. Take care and be safe.
Also the difference between your Ranger and yhe Scout it the 2 inch metal hopper topper. Making it easier to let it run for longer without having to open and reload with pellets.
hey if you haven't figured this out a lil silicone chalk to keep the rubber feet on. then you can still remove them if needed............... tip 2 and 3 put foil over the drip pan and the in the grease can to make cleanup way easier. thnx for the review. :D
Hi guys, I thought Jason was going to pop he looked so pleased with that awesome bbq. Nearly midnight in the UK but I want a big steak! As always, Keep it moving, and KEEP SAFE!!!
Try motorcycle handlebar grip adhesive to keep the rubber feet on the bottom. Then a shot of gorilla tape around the outside for an added reinforcement.
Good job. Looks delicious. I have the Traeger scout. It’s terrible at maintaining temp. I’m going to return it and get this ranger. Yours seems to be superior to the scout in that regard. Nice video. Thank you for sharing.
I have a Jackery 500 battery pack. It runs my Silverback from Grila Grills. It would probably run your Traeger ranger. The longest I’ve ever run my silverback was 16 hours and still had leftover battery power.
Great video! You explained how to use the unit really well. AND, you've inspired us to slow down during the cooking process (don't crank the temp up so we can eat ASAP)! Thanks so much ... Be well ...
If you get some heat shrink you can heat shrink the legs and it will be just like those rubber boots for the legs and just replace when they are worn out, I like the video good job 👍

Nice grill table, heat resistant and fully adjustable too.

Just use a gorilla glue you can find it anywhere and should work

I Commented before I watch the whole video
I was raised on TriTip ( origin of the cut Santa Maria, CA) and there is no better all around cut of beef. This time of year it comes on sale for under 3.00lb quite often 1.99 on the Central Coast and SOCal. Use it for just about every meat dish -soups stews bbq etc. Also cut it into “baseball steaks” Traditionally cooked over Red Oak so if you get some Oak pellets you’ll be able to get the full “Santa Maria Style TriTip” taste. I catered for two decades on the Central Coast and dry rub is the only way to go with TriTip. I usually season mine when I buy it or 12 hours before. The Traeger just ups that game incredibly.
