- In today's video, I'm going for a new PB on a Community World moving mode. This is by no means a strength for me, but because there will be moving rounds at the Geoguessr World Cup, it's time for me to start improving. Hope you all enjoy the video, and screw rural Latvia lol.

13:55 if im not mistaken, the plate you see there is antoher version of the michigan plate. Most michigan plates have a blue strip at the top, however, michigan also has a lot of other plates they use that you see quite often too
This specific version is the mackinac bridge plate 😀

Have you tried doing catcus league? I think they're pretty good curated 5kable seeds that can help you improve your scanning and 5k speed, it really helped me at least.
Good stuff, zigzag! I'd love to see you do one of these, and then you give your seed to GC or CG or Wizard or somebody like that. You could stitch together your videos to show your Round 1 followed by their Round 1, etc. Just to show the contrasting styles/skills. Of course have them comment as they go, but maybe you voice over and react to their videos. Just a thought.

My first solo 25k, the rounds went something like 5 minutes, 8 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 145 minutes (rural Russia). That Latvia I felt in my soul 😅
Overall your skill has improved so much since the last year and a half it's actually quite crazy. If we're talking nmpz or no moving I'd put you right up there with some of the best pro's hands down. We've seen evidence of this in certain challenges etc. where you sometimes even get a round that a lot of pro's failed. But if we're talking moving I gotta be honest you really lack a lot ESPECIALLY your scanning abilities lmao. Like seriously the amount of times a place name shows up on the map and you fail to see it is kind of a skill in itself but not one you'd wish to have.. Anyways Zigzag you're really on point with your overall skill if you keep the nm/pz level like that while simultaneiously grinding moving games and getting better at scanning I'd say there is in fact a chance you perform really really great at the WC!

I'd love to see a 25k attempt on a daily challenge, sometimes they seem very doable. 2 days ago I got so close... 24980. There are some people I see on the leaderboard for the dailies that 25k multiple times a week (Pav comes to mind) so I know its just a skill issue. (There are also some obvious cheaters, and probable googlers)
I hate moving on Geoguessr. It makes it more a luck based game. The person guessing which direction the signs are, will be at a huge advantage. Also, sometimes the internet is shit or the servers have problems and moving about becomes frustrating. No love for moving games. Still good video, Zip Zap.
i love no moving games but that's a nostalgia thing where i would do that when i played geoguessr in like 2017... and tbh i find it fun but it gets tiring when you get a very bad round. still, with more practice, i really like it
oh i forgot to talk about the fact that sometimes you move SO SLOWLY you can't get anywhere because you move like 5 millimeters each slide. but that's the only negative i think
I play no move but i can understand moving, it's more "gamelike" and you still have to figure out many things, and remember even more things than with no move. But yeah, the environment should be same for everyone if moving.

Why did you go east on the first round when you knew you were on the west coast?
I don't actually know how world cup is going to be played, in situ, everyone there at Stockholm with same kind of PC's and connection? If so, you gotta train clicking fast like your competitors and not thinking much where you are (in moving games) or they will beat you, and always compass correct the road. Even then in moving game, if i were you, if it was most possible that any clue can't be found in reasonable time, plonk almost immediately. It's your best feat.
