Probably the best moment of my life , hearing this at 33 + 8 in Jays club 1986 (Thanx Max La menace) in Antwerp with a strobe at same tempo.
I know the feeling, I heard this in 1987 here in Houston at Club Power Tools
Yes, played this way, it was a hit in some Antwerp clubs. Still love it to the max after 34 years.

I used to play a lot of 12" SH discs at the wrong speed and they were AWESOME! A lost music archive of wonderfulness...
We all owe a debt here.
Remember "The Prestige" in Antwerp. We were doing a line dance on this song. Gave a great sense of unity.
Way back in the last century, I used to play this at this speed on ^6UVS-FM, in Perth, Western Australia.
And it’s still played on RTRFM!

when I got the original 12", I played the b-side at 16 rpm to hear that the sample was saying "Ladies and gents' digital"
