As someone who is learning Russian by watching your videos I really appreciate your work and the effort you put in your vlogs. But I really want to correct this lady saying repeatedly Turks deceive, Turks dangerous. And she said she couldn’t understand that Turks don’t give so much importance to friendship. This is totally a lie. There may be some negative aspects in every country. But she is a new comer to Turkey. And her world view about Turkey is limited. And it’s not showing the truth indeed. I am Turkish and spent all my life in Istanbul. Now I am living in Antalya. You must see Russian and Ukrainian families living very very comfortably in Antalya. One of my best friend is Russian and her name is Anja. She speaks awesome Turkish. And my other neighbor is a Russian family with two kids.Turks also have best friends. Yes family is very important but we give so much importance to friendship. She doesn’t really know the culture. The deceiving problem may occur in some touristic places. But it’s impossible to generalize it to the whole population. Sergey make an interview with me next year from Antalya. I am working so hard to learn the beautiful Russian language. And I have friends here living here for such a long time. If you want I can tell them and they participate in an interview. Actually I am little bit offended by the untrue things this lady has spoken. If she lives in another European country as a Russian it would be far difficult for her to cope with the difficulties of daily life. Turks never judge foreigners if they don’t speak their own language. I have seen this with my own eyes many times. ( she didn’t say this but I added this character of Turkish people which enables Russians to live in their comfort zone)Here in Antalya Russian is almost the second language after Turkish. Also in Istanbul they live in quite good conditions.
I think she didn't say Turks were dangerous, but that she perceived some sense of danger. I'd like to point out that this is a very common thing for a woman to feel. Especially in a big city like Istanbul. Also in a big city like Istanbul, it's almost inevitable you will sometimes encounter some of the not so well-intentioned fellas'. 😉 She also described many positive things and how men also were eager to protect women. I'd agreed that ripping of tourists is a time-honoured tradition in tourist locations all over the world. I can see why you might feel attacked in your honor and feel the need to defend your countrymen. I'd say that is paying to much attention to the kind of issuance she made. Every person can only experience a minuscle part of a society and culture and even for the ones native in it the experiences vary wildly. So I'd say the lessons to be learned from this are: - take generalzing statements with a big grain of salt - try not to generalize too much yourself - put a kind of disclaimer when talking about your experiences
Я никогда не смотрел турецкие сериалы, но мне кажется, из того что я слышал о них, это не по мне :) Разве только, когда буду учить турецкий язык, тогда буду смотреть) А какой сериал ты смотришь?
Hospitality, friendship and helping each other are the characteristics of Turks in general. This is Anatolia . It’s in the veins of Turkish people. It’s unbelievable she said that because we are Muslim we are helpful or friendly. Or just because it’s written in the Holy Koran. Yes we learn from our Holy Koran. But what she said is the character of Turkish culture in general.
Although it is sad to note, it must be said that according to the world's leading political scientists and geopolitical experts, in about 200 years, it is very unlikely that there will still be Russians in Siberia, because as you can see, the Russians are less and less demographically speaking . Young Russians also prefer to expatriate due to ongoing political problems, while the Chinese are an expanding population and it is probable that Siberia will become at least partially Chinese in about 100 or 200 years.

I think she gave her personal experience of the life in Turkey ) she didn’t mean to tell that it’s 100% for everyone and everywhere)

Очень интересно что все русские любят турецкие сериалы. Я очень редко смотрю турецкие сериалы. Я сейчас смотрю в Ютубе только один сериал.

Why is that a problem? I'm sure there are less native Siberians now then there are ethnic Russians.
For some reason I understand a lot of what Sergey says but not what she said.
Because she speaks faster)
