Fun Fact: When the Smelter Demon slams his sword down after his fire buff, he leaves burn marks on the floor. Though, we didn't get to see that in this video, since Yaz cooked the smelter
as it is, this weapon cannot be bellow S- but i heard in the video that you want to use it again, when you use it with a katana in power stance you will see why it suddenly becomes an S+ to the max, the stamina consumption on this weapon doesn't change regardless of the weapon you use for the power stance. The poise damage of the weapon is really low, but because of how much it attacks, you could stagger a lot, maybe this video has more bosses staggers than any other but i could be wrong, if you use the stone ring you could have 2x more staggers at worst and 3x at best

Or a raw infusion with a buff using the stone ring to stunlock enemies because of low stamina cost. And considering how you can have an infinite amount of them if ones about to break you can swap to another lol. Id say that this is easily the most *broken* broken straight sword in all of souls for how strong it can be when set up right.
@@C1yde902oh I'm just using stuff I can wield at base level mainly club or broadsword you can use stat boosting gear to make the game easier. I use peasant set to help make the rolling more tolerable. The run has been very interesting no where near as much of a struggle as I anticipated just time consuming I'm on the 6th playthrough then just one more.

Mundane op as always i mean like i have a character with 36 points in each stat and a weapon that has s scaling in dex still gets like 15-20 more damage from mundane but sometimes enchanted gives more EDIT: New video defenitevly on the next saturday or sunday.
Felt like doing the calcs so a comparison, 99 in everything mundane with ROB +2, and sunlight blade. 380 damage base + 40.5 damage from buff. 420.5 AR total. 99 in fai, 99 in str, 10 att, 6 in everything else, ROB +2, Flynn's, sunlight blade, and lightning infusion. 385 base damage + 108 damage from buff. 493 AR total. That is 739 more levels for 72.5 less damage. mundane BAD
You forgot Sacred Oath. Regardless 385 base split damage is not even close to 380 pure physical. I bet my balls that mundane would actually hit harder, even when both are buffed, against MOST enemies (especially in the DLC). Having said that, yeah, mundane is bad.

Broken Straight swords are a blast. Never stuck with them all the way as a build though. Maybe I'll; try them as an offhand with a straight sword or katana though if you say it's even better. I think Silverback is still my favorite weapon though with that triple dark buff potential.
I remember reading somewhere that Lud, Zallen, and Ava share a mechanic with Sinh that makes most weapons take more durability damage due to gaving "tough hides", but that the cats ain't supposed to have it be as pronounced? Apparently it's a lot worse with scythes and halberds, too. Anyway iirc the durability damage modifier gets busted when you play at higher FPS so instead of taking 2x damage your weapons can be eating 4x or more.

Hey Yaz. After discovering my favorite weapon in ds3 (Heysel Pick with max cast speed true combos with melee spells. A spellblade's dream). I played the shit out of ds3 for like 5 times in a row and now I'm pretty accustomed to ds3's speed of input read and the game in general, making ds2 insufferably slow for me. What speed do you play this game in, and what program you use for speedhack? Cheat engine? P.S. That sky color felt appropriate for a hex build P.S.S Yeah NPC invaders teleport back to the place they spawned after not getting engaged with for a while. A forlon chased me through the forest of giants area and got lost while I ran away to kill all the mobs before fighting her, I couldn't fight her again until I got back to the king's gate before giant lord bonfire and she was just there waiting XD P.S.S.S (lol) I just experienced the glory of beating Fume Knight with lightning rapier on 1.4 speed, with Diary of Jane playing in background :) was amazing
Covetous demon is probably weak to slash but you can never go wrong with STRIKE. I will stand by strike till the day I breathe my last, it’s the best damage type and I’ll die on that hill.

I tried this sword in DS3 and it's BRUTAL. Had to level up faith for Dark and Lightning Blade to carry me 😭 you're making this look way too easy
