IT'S TRUE MAN....WOMEN ARE STRONG, MY MAMMY N MA GRANNY BEST WOMEN IN THE WORLD AND THESE WOMEN HAD IT HARD. STAYING IN ROOM N KITCHENS AND RAISING A BIG FAMILY MY GRANNY HAD SIX AND STILL HAD FOOD ON THE TABLE EVERYDAY AND A CLEAN HOOSE, AND ALWAYS HAD A BIG SMILE FOR ALL THE GRANDWEANS....MISS MY WEE GRANNY XXXXXX
The wee Wummin hanging out the windae is Mrs Gallagher, I stayed two up and she stayed one up, we stayed at 132 Florence street in the Gorbals her Son John and his Wife Jessie and there Daughter Eileen stayed in the Single end next door to them, My Maw and us moved to Caledonia Road in 1967 to a new House opposite the Graveyard, Happy Days.
Me: Brought up at 42 Millarbank Street, Springburn, during the 1950s. Mostly good memories. Some shite, due to parents (including paedophile step-father and narcissistic mother). My reminiscences are more innocent love than adult hate. Stay free, Gallus. Rab 🍻😎
