The strawberries you sent us did great for a while, but then something got into the raised bed and destroyed them all. So, the bed is now being used for sweet potatoes. Your garden looks great! It's so good to hear from you!! I finished my degree in December and am now waiting for the paper to prove it, lol!! I'm sorry about the strawberries, that stinks!! When we first started we bought a mixed bag of strawberries to try. We got June bearing and everbearing with several different varieties of each. We prepared a special bed just for them and tried to do everything just right. They all died but one plant which we dug up and put in a flower pot and leaned it against a tree in a flower bed. All the strawberry plants we have now spawned from that one plant that survived. That one plant started dropping babies that took over the bed. I guess you might have to experiment and find the variety that will work for your area, or just keep enjoying the sweet potatoes!! Our old strawberry bed is now our asparagus bed, lol!! Just watched a couple of your videos! I'm in North Texas and the freeze a few days ago wilted my nice broccoli I had growing...along with lettuce, etc. I have frost fabric over them but we had super low temps recently. I cut everything back to a stub above the ground. No idea if they will grow back but it's worth a try. :)
I hope they come back for you!! We had a nice little dusting of snow the morning after I posted this video but it didn't get as cold as predicted. We had another cold night last night.
