    Good presentation. Plan to retire on April 30th. Just 18 days shy of my 56th birthday. Waiting for my company 401 match in February and my April bonus check. ACA health plans only start on the first of the month, so first day of retirement will be May 1st. Key to an early retirement is no debts or mortgage. The lower the expenses, the less one needs in their retirement portfolio.

    Thank you for doing smaller accounts? Most us are sub $500k!

    Great video! I’m 54 and have a bit North of $500k between Roth and 401k. Also have an $87k/yr pension with full annual COLA and health care runs about $500/year not including any co-pays. Social security currently projected at $3250/month. The only thing keeping me from early retirement is my youngest daughter is still in HS for another 2 years.

    But what if we want more detail? How about a multipart series where you create the base plan and then a few videos where you investigate diiferent aspects of the plan? Then we could have a complete idea of all the parts of the plan. I haven't seen anyone create a serieslike that and I think it would really be useful.

    Ari. I was under the impression that Root Financial Partners is only accepting clients with $2M and up? Can you please confirm the minimum AUM portfolio that Root will take on.

      We currently have a minimum of $2M, but hope to help as many people as possible in the future when we have the ability to provide a world-class experience to all. I’m making this video to be helpful for those who don’t have $2M as a sample.

    I am single 61 w $22k pension $400k IRA Want to Retire soon, don't need a legacy. Shud I spend yr doing Roth Conversions? Have health care this yr, if go on Obamacare will need to keep income low. Pension and SocSec will be about $44k

      @Cfrancis1968 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If I were you, keep reportable income low to get tax credits for Obamacare. Do Roth Conversions after you go on Medicare. You will have 10 years to do conversions until RMD's at 75 years old. You should be able to convert it in the 12/15% bracket which is $60,850 or lower AGI.

      @Cfrancis1968 that is why I was thinking to do Roth con this year then look poor on paper until 65?
      Don't want to trigger IRMMA
