These blades were stunning to look at! I’ve never been to a blade show, but Melissa’s presentation of this video made it so clear showing the work and detail of each knife made me appreciate the end result of what these makers went through. I’m a rookie but I’m learning more everyday.

Did they took them just that one year, from one annual blade to the next for presentation; or maybe, that one sword or dagger or a knife, took over a year or so and finally presented it to the next incoming blade show? Or maybe, that some of some these Artists/Bladesmiths are that good & well-seasoned, that they made all of these in less than a month or so, as easy as farting in the wind. All in all, these are just awesome to see.

Like, for instance, what makes a Damascus, a Damascus and not something else? Anyways, great video. Your passion for knives is contagious. I might end up buying one of those gravity knives mostly because they look so cool.

The kukri is totally an "Iberian/Portuguese Falcata" sabre/sword in its looks. (I know they're often compared/mistaken; the kopis is also part of these similar designs)

I remember my knife making days. Fighting knives featured two of my daggers and outdoor life mag had some in them.
I was one of the judges on the best Antique reproduction knife. It was fun and some good entries.
