Heavy D has this vehicle and has had it out on the lake in Utah and it went well The vehicle part needs some work but it still did what it says on the box
Yes, I have been researching information about the car that Heavy D has, there are pictures of this car in the video. He has completely restored it. It is great that the car was not destroyed.
It's interesting that so many Boaterhomes were made, and at the same time, I'm surprised more weren't produced. Unlike the Flying Car or the Amphibian Car, this idea doesn't so much combine the two ideas as it efficiently compliments them. I also have to wonder if there are any one-off customs that apply this basic concept . . . ? Thanks for posting this! 46th Like.
Thank you. For example, I recently made a video about a similar hybrid, the Evinrude Lakester. About Boaterhome, its main problem is the price, even if it would be produced nowadays, the price is still big, not all people will be able to afford it. And I think the engine is a bit weak. It's easier to buy a simple boat. As it seems to me, traveling around the country on such a hybrid will not be very comfortable.
Thank you very much. I remember when you congratulated me when I had 8000 subscribers. Time flies very quickly. I will keep trying to look for forgotten cars.
I understand why this vehicle needs front wheel drive (slipping the boat into water) but I‘m afraid that this configuration is problematic in bringing the power to the road (wheel traction, especially in wet or icy conditions) due to the weight distribution of the whole thing.

This is one of those things that was probably perfect for the few people who bought it

One of those things that seemed like a good idea at the time.

There used to be one at Henry's Radio in Buena Park, CA.
A Ford with front wheel drive!!

I guess making the Boat capable to carry the towing Vehicle was not possible.
There is a video on the channel about the Evinrude Lakester hybrid, hope you enjoy the video.
I don't like it.
you may not like it but you have to admit it's pretty damn cool.
