Love that you prioritize healthy foods. it's a struggle spending frugally while still feeding the family wholesome, pesticide free foods.

Sundays are always a nice home cooked meal with the family while getting things ready for the week. Generally things that take a bit too long to cook during the week.

I cook all week long, on Sunday we have bible study at 230. so by 5pm, we usually do snacks/appetizers. I also try to make one larger meal during the week, that can be served on a second night. also I try to one vegetarian night, like soup/salad, quiche/salad, baked or sweet potato.

Loved this. Thanks for keeping it real and mentioning that you don't always have the energy to do this every week. If only we did, right? I have a house full of teenagers that eat constantly so when I make dinner each night, I make enough for 3 meals. This way they have "snacks" when they get hungry instead of filling themselves with junk. My hubby also works from home, so the leftovers are his go to breakfast/lunches. We rarely eat out, so this works for us. It does take a lot of time, but my peace of mind in knowing what they're eating is worth it. Believe it or not, we save $ like this too. TFS!!

I love cooking Sundays and Wednesdays, I also try to go Vegetarian on Sunday as I know I'll eat meat during the week so Sundays are when I feel healthy as I work out too. I made veggie curry with noodles!

Great video! Loved seeing your meal prep. And, I can't wait to try Eat Cleaner; I saw the woman who created in on TV and once I learned her story and how effectively the product worked, I was sold. It's not sold anywhere in my area so I will have to order online.

My daughter walked in to ask what a bell pepper was? I showed her she said that's a sweet pepper lol.
We cook a roast on Sundays and that turns into Monday extras. I am self employed and a home educating mum so cook every other day of the week.

I need to check out Carolyn's cooking videos. Everything looked delish! We use that same bbq sauce!
I know I am sooo late to even repsond on this video but we had stew beef with potatoes & carrots and rice.
    My meal prep plan:
Monday: my hubby cooks with me every Monday....this monday we cooked bacon cheeseburgers with fries. Plus it was halloween and we don't celebrate so I wanted the kids to have a fun meal. I usually cook everyday unless we do have a day with leftovers. Fridays are usually or fish nights....fish n grits or salmon croquettes! Yum!

I liked the simple ingredients for the meatloaf. What kind of knife do you have? I have one IKEA knife I've had for years, I think it's time to upgrade, and could you tell me where can I buy the fruit wash? I usually use vinegar.

A less inexpensive alternative to was your fruits and veggies, is white vinegar and water use the same steps you used with the fruit wash used in this vlog.

Before finding this cleaner I used to wash with water and vinegar. In order for the vinegar to remove the bacteria, it has to be a high concentration (1 part vinegar, 2 parts water), and I didn't like the after taste it left. Thanks for watching!

I love mashed potatoes, I recently discovered steamable potatoes and that saves me a good bit of time (they are real potatoes). Try putting your salads in mason jars, they last for the week.
